marjiuana was legalized in nevada tonight from it passing in the election. All proceeds to go to education.

So now people can't even complain the state used the hotel tas to pay for a stadium and ignored education.

Dear god please no. There's a surprising amount of Denver jerseys around. Don't need Dolts too. Also Santa Monica is the ONLY place I've seen Rams gear outside of LAX so far. I don't see a ton of NFL gear but when I do its been a mix of Denver, Oakland and Rams.

They did pay for the stadium and ignore education. Just because they managed to finance it another way doesn't change the facts.

Apparently the city and Lott have a "framework" agreement but the raiders are not included in this. The situation may wind up that owners may block the move in january if this is a real option. I think the league and owners would rather the team stay if a stadium deal can be achieved.

I think the the "league is saying that because that is the public position that the owner have told them to take. It's PR and smokescreen til the owners decide what is in their best interest. Not the cities or the fans or the teams best interest.

They are weighing the the unprecedented public money offered by Vegas and whether turning that down would discourage future stadium partner cities from offering large sums. weighing Addlson's involvement and what it would be and how it would affect the league. They are looking at market feasibility and future earning projections.

Now the one think that could fly in the face of what the owners wants is if there is significant support within the ownership for the move to Vegas but not the 22 votes needed to approve and Mark choose to move them anyways and sues just like Al did.

There are a lot of moving parts going on here and the smallest of them is what the fans of Oakland want followed closely by what the city of Oakland wants.

I am anxious to see more detail on this deal that th city is working on tho. The Mayor announcing news of a framework agreement smells of the same non-news the city has declared as headline worthy in the past. If something is really close than I would love to see it presented, if for no other reason than to prove they can get SOMETHING done after all this time.

Most of us are tired of the back and forth. Been going on for more than a decade. That has been my message since the beginning. I just want a new building.

With the recent successes on the field and the 'feel good factor' and with a star QB and star defensive player who are a PR exec's dream - both very marketable but both are clean off the field and with great images - does this increase the chances of the Raiders staying in Oakland and a deal being reached?

The argument could go either way.

Better to have a good team to attract a deal at home or in another city.

Going to be a hard sell tp convince voters to add another 200 million to bring the total to 295 million.
