If Andre was currently on our team, and had been for several years now, none of you would want to trade him away for some 3rd round pick.

I probably would depending upon the stage the team was at in the rebuilding process. Houston doesn't have anything CLOSE to a franchise QB right now and Andre has at most 3 more very good years left. In that situation I would want to get the most I could from him and I would know that most teams aren't gonna pony up great assets for a 32 year old receiver.

Fitzpatrick is better than what we're going to be starting. Let that sink in for a second...

I hope you wanted me to let that sink in, so I could get a good laugh. Because I did.

You mean Ryan Fitzpatrick who went 6/14 for 2 interceptions in the first pre-season game?

Is Fitzpatrick even that much better than Grossman? I know he is better, but really, how much better?

haha I knew that'd spark some conversation

Chalk that up to me being bitter than Johnny isn't likely going to be starting. Hoyer looked good in his 3 games last year though, so he's at least capable of winning games

For those thinking Andrea Johnson isn't worth Hoyer and a 3rd here's some stats. 2012-16 games played, 112 rec 1598 yds rec, 99.9/ per game. 2013 stats, 16 games played, 109 rec, 1407 yds rec 87.9/ yards per game. Oh and 6 100 yard games.. This dude still got at least 3 years left in the tank and like I said would be a great mentor to Gordon! Now throw in Amari Cooper in next years draft, imagine flash, Johnson, Cooper, Cameron, JF if he lives up to his ability not to mention if Ben Tate who's been looking good we could finally have a offense we could be proud of!!!!

After last night's game, even if this weren't already a whisper of a rumor that it is, no way Houston would make that trade.

I still cant believe Hoyer didnt take the contract extension we offered him a while back.

Pretty sure that HAS to be off the table at this point.
