I think a 3rd and Hoyer is OK but almost too much just because of his age and contract. Throwing in Taylor is crazy

If it protects and boosts Manziel into a more competent QB then it's totally worth it.

Like Eric Steinbach next to Joe Thomas. Sure we overpaid but if it contributed to Thomas' development it was totally worth it.

Listen i'm not going to hate the deal, but I still think it's a lot to give up.

Taylor may not currently be in our future plans, but he has what, two more years with us? Say he balls out like he is capable of? I'm sure we would chance our minds and extend him.

I don't know if trading Wiggins, Bennett, and a first round pick is worth it... what if Love leaves after one year?

... oh wait...

I don't know if trading Hoyer, Taylor, and a third round pick is worth it... what if Johnson leaves after one year?

(I know, they're not the same, just found the few parallels a little funny)

Crazy depth on d-line and Jacobbi makes the team......check

Andre Johnson either helps Manziel in Gordon's absence or plays opposite him. Shocked ....check

Maybe Taylor wants out at the end of the year anyway?

It's possible

I'm sure there is much more to this than any of us know or will ever know. Just on the surface, seems like a lot IMO.

I doubt I will [inappropriate/removed] during the season watching AJ out there balling.

I'd still put the odds of this happening at about 5% lol, so I guess i'm arguing for nothing.

Nug...I love me some Phil, but how many plays does he actually give you in a game? He is part of a rotation. Not saying he is easily replaced, but......we have depth.....and it's Andre Johnson....I think he has a few more years left

it doesn't. idk where OP came up with that.

Hoyer + 3rd for a guy who has asked to be traded/will leave after this year sounds like a good deal for both sides to me.

No thanks. Especially if the Browns had to trade Taylor as well.

Shocked (Me jumps in the crowd) Yeah Who started that??

Actually I read that on another site as well. I posted to the CBS site because it seemed to be the Patient Zero of these rumors. I guess the Taylor part was a random mutation.

If they make the trade is says a lot about Manziel and the Gordon Situation. AJ makes our WR core a lot better.

That is all
