I've been seeing in the shady corners of the internet and several NFL Rumor sites that Browns might be willing to trade Hoyer, another player, and a 3rd rounder for Andre Johnson. A move that would re-unity Hoyer with Bill O'Brian.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/jason-la-canfora/24568928/influx-of-rookie-passers-makes-veteran-arms-expendable----and-valuable

(Scroll down a bit until you see Hoyer). Hoyer and a 3rd for Andre Johnson is something I would do all day long if you ask me. Not sure if they would want a player to be named as well.

Big question is how confident are we in Grossman and young johnny at QB? Would we be ripping up one glaring hole on offense to try and plug the other glaring hole?

That is all

Here is my stance on this...

I would love to trade for AJ. However with his age and salary, I don't want to give up to much.

3rd rounder doesn't bother me that much.

My worry is which Dlineman we are sending.

noooo

AJ is good but he is 33. Hoyer is fine, though i'd be sad to see him go. throw in a low-round pick and i'm fine with that.

Taylor is 26 and a freaking monster - no way in hell i give him up. especially to a team who has JJ Watt and now Clowney Shocked

it doesn't mean much but this article is from yesterday

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11343580/cleveland-browns-coach-mike-pettine-says-addition-rex-grossman-does-not-mean-brian-hoyer-expendable

Quote:
BEREA, Ohio -- The addition of quarterback Rex Grossman to the Cleveland Browns does not make Brian Hoyer expendable, coach Mike Pettine said Tuesday.

"Absolutely not" was Pettine's response when asked that question.

Its a lot to give up for a 33 year old WR who may want to play here as much as he wants to play in Houston though

I think a 3rd and Hoyer is OK but almost too much just because of his age and contract. Throwing in Taylor is crazy
