Idzik messed up...bad. Revis wanted to come back, but he was ignored for whatever reason. They had the chance to make that Revis trade the most genius move of all time. Trade Revis, get Richardson in return, and then get Revis back the very next year. But nope...lets just ignore the CB position all together. And no, singing some no name guys and drafting one in the 3rd round (who is now on IR), is not a legitimate way of addressing the position.

Idzik is cheap. He had enough money to buy a ferrari (Revis), but bought a used ford focus (Patterson) instead.

I don't expect Allen to fare well against a shifty WR ... he probably will deal with longer striders better, but shifty guys like Green probably will do well against him.

Milliner still hasn't been able to get the MRI because the swelling is so excessive. Being ready let alone effective by week 2 is starting to seem like wishful thinking

Green isn't a shifty guy he's a long strider, he runs like a gazelle and uses his body well

It'll be a great test for Allen who might a blessing in disguise at Corner

Allen needs to be at Safety, I hope this doesn't hurt his progression.

Don't see why it would. He gets to improve his coverage skills. He's already more than fine enough against the run. The lack of reps at safety shouldn't hurt him.

We are going to get shredded with this secondary. I want to be positive, but it's going to happen.

We've all watched Rex's defenses enough the last five years. Teams are simply going to abandon the run and throw their way down field per usual. Except this year we have no Revis, no Cromartie to bail us out.

Yeah that secondary is going to get absolutely torched unless we get Milliner back and we make a solid move. PAss rush still is no where near where it needs to be especially if its going to bail our a poor secondary. We really need Coples to be a force and have Mo duplicate his pass rushing success or we might not be as good on that side of the ball as well think.

I agree 100% with ( ekillo8x ) & ( ganggreen420 ) How many third & 15 downs are we going to give up with the horrible CB we have left on the roster. With the kind of injury Millner has, he could be lost for at least 4 to 6 weeks. Just when we were all optimistic about the upcoming season, we get hit with all this bad news about our CB's. I guess this is what its like being a Jet fan.

The majority of people defended Idzik on here about not spending money this offseason bc he has a "plan" Yet no one knows what that plan is. What does having 25mill in cap space do to help us this year? I'm not saying spend every last penny, but do a few 1yr deals to make the roster better on the field now, and address the positions in need permanently through the draft and FA. We all knew going into camp we still had big holes at Guard, #2WR, CB. And he did nothing to address any of this. He stayed in house and the in house options aren't working. Whoever is our #2 WR will be the worst #2 in the NFL, we still don't know who our 2 guards will quite be, either way both will be average to below average and our 2 starting CBs right now are 3s and 4s on most teams. And I blame Idzik 100% for this. It'd be one thing if we had 6mill left in cap space but we had/have 25mill sitting there. Address the positions of need. We went from a GM that handed out dumb contracts all over the place to a GM now that will back out of a deal bc the player wants powerade instead of Gatorade. I see his plan to build through the draft, but u have to fill holes too.
