Agreed. I've liked what I've seen out of him.

We might have a terrible defense, but if the officiating is going to be like this all year, we may have some hope. Should be able to do a lot of scoring of our own.

Yea its like replacement refs.....There's offensive holding (blatant) on every play not being called, but the defensive flags cant be thrown fast enough.....both teams for that matter

The way the field is being tilted in the offenses' favor is really making me not like football anymore. It's just not the same game.

Just one preseason game..

It's not new. Last year was pretty bad too. The defense is handcuffed and not allowed to hit at all.

If Ndamukong Suh is really on the trade block, the Cowboys should call and find out what the price is. 1st rounder? Do it, Jerry.

Would you do it??

Personally I would not, because I think its very possible Dallas ends up with a top 10 pick.....I know there's no way of knowing that, but what we do know is there is a reason Detroit would be willing to trade him.....he's a CANCER

I highly disagree. Last year wasn't any worse than it has been in recent memory.

Suh is absolutely without a doubt worth a 1st. He is a top 3 DT in the NFL and still young.

But I hear he wants an all time record contract. So.. pass.

Half Time Report...

Weeden looks good. He has made good decisions on throws and seem very comfortable. Took a BIG HIT on the TD pass!

Randle looks good. He seems very speedy and has some shifty moves. Needs to hit the hole more often instead of bouncing outside.

Escobar and Hanna looks good. Among these 2 will one day be Witten replacement.

Defense? YIKES.

Weeden had a decent first half but looked absolutely lost in the 2 minute drill.

I agree he's expensive, But mostly because he's a Cancer.....he's a dirty player, and I hear none of his teammates ranting and raving about how great it is to have him around.....Since he's a top 3 DT in the league, and so talented and still young, they would find a way to keep him around....IMO
