Given the conditions and it being our first live action, I thought we played well. Stafford, Sankey, McCluster in his limited time and Thompson (besides that drop) all particularly stood out for me.

Looks like Brown broke a team rule which is why he didnt start. Also looks like McCarthy has a significant shoulder injury. Looks like this spells the end of his Titan career Crying or Very sad

Zach Brown broke team rule and that's why he isn't start tonight #Titans

Can't believe he could be that stupid.

Jesus, Zach. He had a good game today, too. By all accounts he's been doing everything right on the field this offseason, so a dumb mistake off of it is disappointing.

If anything surprised me from tonight it was Locker only throwing 2 passes. Figured he'd get a few more than that.

Team has some good showings. I liked Sankey. I like the defense after the 1st series.
Didn't see much from the Starters and the passing game.
I like McCluster. He runs harder than CJ.

Overall a good showing.

He runs like CJ in his early years.

Hard to throw passes in a monsoon.

Mettenberger definitely has a cannon. Yea they're 3rd stringers but he's showing how good of an arm he has. Definitely believe he can develop into a solid to good QB.

JaMarcus Russell had a cannon too.

It's hard to take much from the game giving the conditions but here are a few that I come away with

The Good
Our running game was good on every level 1st threw 3rd team

Michael Preston still continues to be good in the preseason

Taylor Thompson finally looks like a pass catcher minus the one drop

Zach Mettenberger looks good in the pocket was very accurate for the most part

Brett Kern

(Edited) forgot to mention o-line it was very good

The Bad
Marc Mariani didn't have a good game had some drops and didn't do much returning kicks

Zach Brown breaking a team rule

The run defense with the starters

The kicking competition
Coons over Bonani but not by much none of them are kicking touchbacks either

Things I liked:
- Bishop Sankey looked pretty good.
- Zach Mettenberger did a good job playing with and against 3's and 4's.
- The o-line finally looked like they should look throughout all strings.
- Taylor Thompson improvement.
- Shonn Greene looked pretty good as well.
- Daimion Stafford could be Pollard's replacement in 2 years.

Things I didn't like:
- The run defense was horrid.
- Overall tackling was rather pathetic. (Not 100% effort in preseason though)
- The kicking was not good enough. (I hope we bring in a FA)
- Marc Mariani did not live up to the hype of practices.
- Zach Brown being an idiot.
- Colin McCarthy hurt AGAIN.
- Want to see more of Locker, Hunter, and Preston.

I really hope Zach Brown gets it together and not just because he's my AAT. He has so much god given talent and potential (showed some of that last night).

Positives:
- 1st String O-Line - For the most part controlled the LOS and got push in the run game.
- Pursuit on D(except for 1st drive) - Guys were flying towards the ball at all times. Problem was they couldn't finish with the tackle.
- Daimion Stafford - I thought he played very well on both SPT and defense last year. He's picked up where he left off and then some. Made a couple big hits and good tackles last night.
- DaQuan Jones - Definitely is a mammoth. He will be a be in this rotation all throughout the D-Line. He was constantly doubled teamed last night. Yes it was against backups but he's showing he can make plays in this league.
- RBs - The main 3(Greene, Sankey, McCluster) all ran hard and hit the holes that were there. Sad those 3 ran harder than CJ has in the past 3 years. For as small as McCluster is, he certainly runs bigger than his size. Sankey looked good in the pass game

Negatives:
- 1st Drive D - They looked timid on the 1st drive, like they were afraid of playing in the rain.
- Tackling - It sucked all night. Too many missed tackles allowed the Packers run game to get going.
- Kicking Game - Nothing about last night made me even close to thinking our kicking game will be fine. Yes it was pouring and the snaps and holds sucked at times but these 2 guys we have are pretty bad. I think Coons will win the job between the 2 as I feel Bonani is one of the least accurate kickers I've ever seen. He may have a big leg but his accuracy is pathetic.
- Kickoff Coverage - Looked pretty bad. Too many bad angles and missed tackles.
- Whitehurst - Aside from the solid getting out of trouble, he was garbage. If Locker gets hurt and Whitehurst starts, we might not win a game with him as starter. He's that bad.
- Marc Mariani - Really don't see him making the team. He was a solid returner before his broken leg a few years ago. He's never been anything as a WR and likely never will be and showed that last night. I know he's a fan favorite but Hagan, Preston, and Robiskie should all be above him right now.
- Weather - Can't take too much from this game because of this rare downpour. Looks like GB brought the horrible weather with them. The next 2 weeks we'll get a better sense of the team with more PT and playing in a dome.

Funnily enough, he was 10/15 for 94 yards and a TD, and that was with 3 drops.

Yeah, he wasn't even close to terrible. He played like I'd expect any backup QB to play.

He surprised me a bit. He made some good throws and took control at the line and he showed hes still got the quickness to buy time. I'm a fan. Mett also looked very good in the pocket.

Next week we should get a really good look at our 1s tho. The rain seemed to really throw everything out of sync and it showed on both offense and defense.

Overall I'm happy with what I've seen.
