Rookie mistake by Bryant, just trying to make a play but you have to know when to go down and for another down.

Green and Blake were both pretty lousy looking to me. I have yet to see anything from either to back-up the coaches or media opinions. McCain, too, had some lousy plays and was lucky he didn't draw that flag because that was blatant.

The refs were probably the worst thing on the field tonight. Some of the calls they didn't throw were obvious (such as McClains), and some of the stuff was ticky tacky beyond belief. It made no sense watching that. The league is trying to emphasize rules, but as a fan who has watched football for a very long time...I'm just confused.

You do know this is a rule violation and that you can get a warning for this?

C'mon did you think I was actually serious? I guess I'm a pretty bad sarcastic trash-talker

I thought it was pretty obvious you were joking.

If I thought you were serious, I wouldve said something back. Respectfully, of course. Cool

McCullers will be something with some training. He was tackled on nearly every play he was in.

Archer will be good if he can get clean releases. I think teams will have a LB/CB hammer him on a LOS. He is not large enough to really fight off a serious bump.

I'm getting ready to watch this game for the first time, living in the Cleveland area I didn't get the game and NFL network seemed to forget what live look ins were thanks to Manziel so I didn't see squat but the Archer play.

I'm hoping to see progression from Jarvis, with hand placement, strength during the running game, and leverage. Also from what you guys said Shamarko & Spence had good games so that'll be interesting to see.

Why does he have to line up @ the LOS?

Line up in a trips or diamond like they love to with other personnel and
use the lead WR/whoever to bust a jam @ the LOS.

Winners

+ Sean Spence
+ Dri Archer
+ Jarvis Jones
+ Howard Jones

Losers

- Cam Heyward
- 2nd string RBs ( Poole and Harris)
- Entire 2nd group of OL as a whole.
- Landry Jones
- 2nd group of WRs lack intermediate big play ability.

How is Shamarko Thomas not on anyone's winners list?

Beyond that, how the hell did they trot out Will Allen at FS with Polamalu resting?

Where is the logic in that? That had better just be a preseason thing to get everyone on the field for snaps. If they really plan to do that in the regular season...

On that note, Jordan Zumwalt looked good, as well. It's going to be tough for him to make the team, though.

Which is why I didn't issue an official warning...just a friendly reminder.

And that's gonna happen from time to time this season, if he ever sees the field. The most telling stat, if I heard correctly, is that he got two PI calls? That's easy yardage right there, and if he can be used in that capacity, that would be worth his weight in gold.

Just bring him in on situational plays...have him go deep and chuck the ball near him. One of two things are gonna happen, from what I'm hearing with him. He's going to make a spectacular grab, or he's going to earn a PI. Same thing in the red zone.

Yes, I know it's not that easy, but if we could get just one of those plays per game, then it'd definitely be worth it. Oh, but make sure as soon as he catches the ball--NO YAC! Just fall down! Wink

I had no problem with Adams' play in pass protection. I watched him the entire 1st 1/2 Hubbard sucked crap on a couple of plays. The Giants were getting pressure up the middle when the 2nd OL was in vs their 1st team defense.

Again it is preseason. I like what I saw from Mauro and McCullers. Spence looked good as did the Shark.

I think both backup QBs looked like crap.
