Another Packer injury... but I don't think I'd call a 5th round rookie a major loss. I doubt this will affect the Packers significantly.

Really liked him as a draft prospect. Saw him as a third round talent, although he came with injury red flags.

Can we tear up that Thompson extension? ANOTHER bust from this bum of a GM. What's next? We win the division again and don't win the SB?

Get this POS out of GB.

That's odd. I think there were a few in your fan base saying he was the best GM ever. Jordy Nelson thread.

Anyway, I hate seeing guys go down with injuries. I don't know much about this kid but he seemed to be pretty well hyped on FF. Made me intrigued to want to see him play.

That's a shame, really the only thing you can say about a season ending injury, especially for a rookie.

I was really big on Abbrederis when he was at Wisconsin. He was always one of those smaller, nitty gritty receivers. I always saw the potential for him to develop into a solid slot receiver in the league, especially in Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball.

I'm sure he will make a full recovery and be back more ready than he ever has been before for next year.

Lol, I was obviously being sarcastic.

And nobody ever said "best GM ever." That's the whole problem around here. A few people think he's top 5 and don't blame him for every draft pick not being a home run, and that equals BESTEST GM EVA.

At least it wasn't a concussion.

Abby is a frail receiver. He needed a year in an NFL weight room before he could be a big contributor on offense. Would have been a potentially valuable returner though.

That's where I'm at. I don't really think ACL has to do with him being frail personally but I agree.

I wanted him around because of his return value though...even if it was plan b.

A lot of us think this might end up being a blessing in disguise because Abby can now use the time after his knee heals to bulk up some and be ready to go in 2015.

That sucks. Abbrederis is an incredible route runner. If it doesn't cost him speed and cutting ability, I think he'll be an effective NFL WR.

Right. He had a chance to be our 5th WR and PR/KR. Fortunately, we have guys like Dorsey, Janis, White, and Harper battling for his spot now.
