Last one got to 100. New thread to discuss how stupid RAJ is after every terrible trade he makes or fails to make.

Please don't trade Cole. He's just about the only relevant jersey I have left.

Fire sale everyone else though.

Would the Phillies even consider moving Revere? If so, what kind of deal would the Phillies (not RAJ) expect?

I'd move him, not sure what return he'd fetch.

Revere is young, has a lot of team control, won't bring anything noteworthy back and the phillies have no one to replace him.

So kind of doubt they attempt to trade him at all.

Well Hamels throws the gem tonight.

Doubt anyone would offer what it takes to get him.

Hamles has been one of the better pitchers in the league. And his contract isn't awful compared to market value and he's locked up for a while.

The Phillies should demand top prospects. No need to just give Hamels away just for salary relief. Some big contracts are going to start coming off the books in the coming years.

But if a good offer comes then we should take it.

Don't trade Hamels until RAJ is gone. Laughing

I have a feeling RAJ is going to balk at every trade offer and no one goes anywhere.

Papelbon would be a salary dump, if anyone takes on any significant portion of what he is owed that is a good move.

All he does in Philadelphia is not give Giles the chance to close.

Rosenthal tweeted something similar, phillies have no interest in salary relief. Want prospects back.
