Interesting... always seemed like a solid player (except last year when he seemed to struggle), don't quite know why he was bouncing around the last few years. Everytime he was dumped I wanted him in Miami but we never signed him. He should make the roster, even if its just a depth position.

RT job is wide open, so he will certainly have an opportunity. Seems similar to Breno Giacomini, except more athletic.

Its strange what has happened to this guy, I mean at one point wasn't he considered one of the better RTs in the league? I would say that he should make the team at least as depth but who knows.

I love signings like this. It's a vet-min deal for a guy who could either start at RT or provide valuable experience and depth. Right now I'd say Justin Britt and Winston are the two most likely guys battling to start at RT but they might try some different combinations out to find the best five guys.

Would have to think Britt has the edge over him right now. Bowie may be in trouble though

I wanted this guy so bad when he was available and then we drafted DJ Fluker. I'm happy with Fluker but Winston sure would be a nice reserve especially considering that Dunlap is almost a guarantee to get hurt.

I wouldn't think that. Winston may be coming off a down year but was consistently good before that and is in the system he favors in the ZBS. Honestly, I see it as Winston's to lose. Not saying he will be great or anything but his competition is a rookie who hasn't exactly impressed and a second year player who showed up out of shape.

Yeah, Britt has been really struggling in pass pro and is consistently getting torched by Avril. I expect it is Winstons job to lose. I see them bringing Britt along slow and having Winston mentor him. Winston is a solid signing. He may have had a down year last year, but come on, everybody has a down year playing on arizonas offensive line. He was good every other year before that. No injury history. 30 is still a reasonable age. I expect good things from Winston

I really wouldnt think he has a great shot of making the team. He seems to have fallen so hard from his early days in Houston
