That seems a bit excessive for a guy who hasn't exceeded 500 yards in a season yet.

We seem to be paying based on potential recently (Griffen) so I sort of expected this.

I am biased but Rudolph has the talent to back up this deal, and with a new QB (hopefully) and a competent TE-friendly offensive scheme, I think it'll be worth it.

So a little over 7 a year for a guy who averages 36 catches, 351 yards, and 5 TD's a year?

I'm all about potential and one could argue only 8 games last year he'd obviously look better but even if you keep his averages for last year going, it only comes out to 60 catches, 626 yards, and 6 TD's. That's paying a premium for potential. :/

Wait, what? Why?

I remember this guy was supposed to be the next best thing at TE coming out of college. Haven't really heard/seen him do much of anything. Yes I know the situation in Minnesota over the past few years may have not been the most ideal but still...come on. Now a top 5 paid right end

Great deal. Couldn't be happier. Locked him up!

Spielman is a genius.

With Turner and Bridgewater running the show, Rudolph is going to shred defenses.

Oh wow lol.

Makes me feel a lot better about Cooks deal.

On a somewhat down year, He had better numbers and without Sam for

Most of the year.

51 Catches--671 Yards--5 Td's.

Not sure if Randolph is worth that much money.

But hey! The new CBA is doing work.

Kyle needs to be counting his blessings that the Vikings organization loves him.

what did he get guaranteed? Because this contract is a joke compared to what Graham got unless there's like no guarantees in it.

Why? He could break out under Norv, but if he doesn't, they're stuck with a 500 yard TE on a ridiculous contract.
