So glad he is 29 and Rodgers is 30. Only another 6 or 7 years of the Packers dominating the North. Rolling Eyes

Well deserved, surprised at how low the guaranteed money is but..maybe the money wasn't as important to him as staying in GB was.

Jordy wasn't leaving GB that was evident.

That's what happened. Jordy is a small town guy. He loves Green Bay.

Lol, Packers held firm on not giving $10M per. Laughing

Good deal for the Packers. I don't see him being cut in the next 4 years, so he'll get paid well enough.

At 29 years old I don't think that's the best move for Jordy Nelson. He could have got a lot more on the open market in what will probably be his last career payday

Good deal for both sides. Nelsons really only had two good years and isnt really young either. if he gets injured or regresses backwards unexpectedly pack can cut ties with not much exposure.

Love it. Jordy has been underpaid his entire career. Happy for him. Very Happy

I am more than willing to bet that Jordy disagrees with you. When I see a contract like that and I hear that the player signed it, I think, he clearly likes the QB he is playing with. When you're playing with a Top 3 QB, what's not to like? This is a playoff team for all intents and purposes, a Playoff team where he's been a career player and he basically just stamped a retirement slip, imo.

Jordy has always appeared to be very content in his situation.

For some people, it really isn't just all about the money. Clearly this is true for Jordy as well.
