Hill is still under suspension by the league for the first 6 games of the 2014 season for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy.

Good player but suspended 3 times in 3 years. Only a matter of time until it's a year ban. Can't count on him to be there for you game in game out.

Probably a camp body in all honesty. Don't see the need for him at all especially with the suspension.

Seems relatively young, albeit extremely stupid.

Outside of the suspensions, how has he performed for you, Giants fans?

Actually was a pretty good player last year, was really excited for him this year until the suspension and eventual cut
Probally woulda started next to rolle if he wasn't stupid
If he stays out of trouble good signing for the ravens

Just proves that talent will always get an opportunity regardless of the character of the individual.

I wish him all the best but I also don't think anybody learns anything from living a life without consequences. It's like Tanard Jackson who told everyone he learned a valuable life lesson from working in a warehouse 9-5 and then got suspended again within a month.

For the Ravens - it could be a good signing. If he keeps his head on he's got talent and could be a decent depth addition/spot starter.

Hill has top 5 talent potential at safety. He's that good. He can run, hit, cover and make impact plays. I watched a lot of Giants games last year and Hill imo was one of the biggest reasons for them turning their season around in the second half. More so than Beason was defensively.

If he can keep his nose clean the Ravens will get a steal. That's a big "if" though.

Its a one year deal. Probably not much money involved. So, low risk on our side.

If it goes well, he could see a good number of snaps. Boosts the safety depth and provides a backup in case Stewart isn't a fit at FS or Brooks isn't ready.

If he stays out of trouble hes a pro bowl level safety. Was superb for the Giants when he was actually on the field.

Yea, kind of gives insurance for week 7 and on I guess. If we don't need him at that point, then it's no issue to cut him. Sounds like a decent, albeit not hugely impactful, move.

With the off season the Ravens are having, you'd think they'd want to stay clear of players that can't stop getting into trouble.

All those arrests have led to 2 missed games. 2 of those arrests were by guys on the bubble to even make the roster. It's really not something that needs to influence future personnel moves.

Just a camp body. Probably not going to do much in terms of playing time if he even makes the roster, at which point I don't see him being much more than a depth guy if he can stay clean of marijuana.
