Technically Munnerlyn will start outside when they have two CB' and then move inside in nickle situations.

Correct, that's why I included him as an option here...although he will probably always be on the field, considering they'll likely be running nickel over 40% of the time.

and when this happens, I expect Josh Robinson to start the season as the RCB in this situation.

Captain should not be in this vote. I think it's pretty clear he'll always be on the field.

It should be 3rd CB vote. I think Prater will take that spot.

Agreed. Hopefully Zimmer molds him into a player.

I think Cox will surprise and be a solid third cb. He was an effective player in Jax.

Agreed.

Josh Robinson probably looked good during OTA's and mini-camp running around in shorts. Once the pads go on and they are allowed to play press coverage, Derek Cox should take that spot.

I really do hope that Josh Robinson can make that next step, but I doubt he will. I'd really rather have Sherels backing up Rhodes-Cox-Munnerlyn if Robinson is playing at the same level as last year.

I do think this will be the case, i'm just worried about his injury history. There were a lot of people in JAX saying he was milking injuries during his time there as well. I'm unsure on the guy, but when he's out there I do think he will play alright.

I'm excited to see Cox in training camp and preseason. Hopefully he can regain his Jacksonville form. Should be some good comp going on in the secondary.

I think youre really selling cox short. He had a great tenure in jax before signing a big money deal in san diego to play in a scheme that didnt fit him. Hes now in a scheme that is tailored to his strengths and he should do much better as a nickel corner. Im also hoping cox emerges as the primary 3rd corner, our secondary could really use his size. I really think robinson will struggle against the bigger wr's in jump ball situations, trying to contest catches, and jamming wr's at the line due to his small size
