Good lawd. He and Gordon are two peas in a pod. I don't know if he'll be reinstated until 2015 at the earliest.

With the Sanders suspension and now this, could Mike Brown be the WR2 to start the season or do you guys think Lee or Robinson will win the job? Who mans the slot?

Lee could be great in the slot, Shorts and Robinson outside but Robinson was injured in mini camp so i'm not sure if he will be up to speed.

It is so hard to watch this unfold. I remember seeing a special featuring Justin Blackmon with Michael Irvin before he was drafted. Maybe Irvin can reach out to Justin (maybe he has already tried) for some help. It is easy for us to post about what should and shouldn't be done, but we have no idea what living the life of a professional football player is like. For the Jags organization and fans this one stings a lot. Hopefully Marqise Lee and others take this opportunity to step up.

Unofficial depth charts have Robinson as a starter and Lee in the slot. That makes the most sense to me as Robinson is more of a contrast to Cecil's style for 2WR sets. Brown might be pushed to have more reps, but he's not really a guy you want playing on the outside. He's more of a smaller shifty slot guy. Lee and Robinson both were dealing with some minor injuries earlier, so they could be behind the curve a bit. In short, I don't know. I'd kind of expect our starters to be Shorts and Robinson, but it really could shake out any number of ways.

Addiction is a serious problem but it takes a moron to be caught smoking or possessing pot. If he likes to smoke, the simple solution is keep that stuff at home. Getting arrest for possession isn't part of the addiction. It's simply being a moron.

But fact is, he does have a problem and he does need help.

I thought Charles Rodgers never lasted because he broke his collarbone in consecutive years? Maybe my memory isn't that good.
