We need to work on some rules for all this. We have a solid week before we start the draft. I think we did 1 in the first three rounds or 2 any after round 3.

We also spoke of steals, and other shenanigans. So... discuss...

I advocated for a Vulture Keeper League. In which the last place team has the option of EITHER keeping a player from his team OR stealing and keeping a player from the winners - and the inverse happens.

We were supposed to have it ago last year - that was shot down by the majority.

Here's the original thread from the Keeper League...

And the rules...

Quote:
Keeper Rules

1 - You may keep either:

A: One player whom you drafted in the first 4 rounds

OR

B: Two players that were drafted from round 5-16

2 - You do have to forfeit the draft pick (round) that corresponds with your keeper selection

3 - You may keep a player a MAXIMUM of 3 years.

ht, I'm pretty sure I kept Shane Vereen on my team the whole year but I can't remember. Is there a way to check? If not, I'll gladly keep Seattle as a keeper with my 7th round pick. It's kinda nice when your defense puts up as many points as Dez Bryant.

Matts, on the previous page & in the above thread Slam quoted, I posted the link to the original Keeper thread & the rules we used then. I don't care 1 way or another about the vulture thing, but we haven't been using it. If the majority want it, that's fine. I do think we should keep the 1 from rds 1-4 or 2 from rds 5-16 in place for continuity.

Also, I heard from Cav and he's in. All we're missing is Ace. Maybe Des could send him a message on facebook.

Tell him to give us a new email address and Matts or I will edit the info on the main league page. Then when Matts sends the invites, he'll get 1. He'll still need to find his Yahoo login info or create a new profile.

Wow, my team sucked and the only decent player I dropped.

I will confirm my keepers tomorrow when I get to work.

Thanks for putting those up HT.

I am with Slam on the vulture / money vote. No to Vulter, Yes to Straight Cash Homies.
