Get excited for this kid. He's going to be very good for us.

A. This is definitely someone I also like.

B. Did anyone else scroll down to the second to last GIF and go, when the hell did Boyd play against Alex Smith Laughing it was already playing so I didn't see the beginning, just 11 getting tackled.

His hustle is damn amazing and seems like some of the best I've seen for a guy that big

He seems really fast. To be fair though, he barely got touched on two plays. Still I am excited for Fat Walden and if he our future run stopper or future Raji replacement, then I am looking forward to it.

He's much heavier this year, we'll see how he plays with the added weight. Should be a day 1 starter.

Think so? I agree but it doesn't seem I hear that much.

If he didn't have dreads you would've thought they brought Big Grease back on the first day of OTAs. Telling to me the staff had him bulk up like that and didn't even discuss a new deal with Pickett when he could've been had for the min, they think they have an upgrade in Boyd.

palmy gave this kid good marks on his limited play last year... that was enough for me to be excited about the athleticism the kid can bring to this DL

hes got a motor too... some solid upside for being a late round guy no question

I still cannot believe he fell that far in the draft. I remember seeing a lot of Boyd when I watched Fletcher Cox at Miss State in 2012.

That last GIF is ridiculous... that's a first round tool right there.

Him and Clay dominate the first played gif'd. Three blockers from Dallas, LT FB and TE take them on, and they blow up the play almost immediately.

FWIW, AJ played very well in these. He plays almost every play perfectly with the exception of one and gets blocked in the back in two.

If you all are excited then I am excited. I thought Boyd should have played a lot more last year so hope he gets his chances this year.

I'd wager fat Walden is better at tackling in the open field than the skinny one.

Is the other one skinny or just regular sized Walden?
