Camp is coming (finally!) A week from now the Jimmy Graham saga will be over, one way or another and a week further will mark the beginning of camps across the nation (The Bills are reporting on July 18 for some crazy reason).

What things about the team most interest you about this years camp?

For me, I'm very interested to see how Tolzien has progressed and am hopeful that he'll get some time with at least the second team the first couple weeks. I recently watched the Philadelphia and New York games and there were a lot of "Ay, caramba!" moments, both positive and negative.

I'm looking forward to seeing live action of Richard Rodgers and Colt Lyerla playing against NFL talent.

I'm also pretty jazzed to check out Adrian Hubbard. He seems likely to have either a Ricky Elmore or Dezman Moses kind of August with nothing in between.

Like you, I'm interested in seeing how the TE room shakes out, along with the WRs. For instance, how close is Davante Adams to Jarrett Boykin, and when? If both Nelson and Cobb sign and stay healthy all season, what is the limit to this offense, given our balancing options at RB, and, in a "best case" scenario, an effective platoon at TE?

I'm anxious to see what kind of motor Bradford has, and also, what kind of variety Ha-Ha brings to the secondary, along with the return of a healthy Hayward. Who can't be optimistic, given the flurry of movement options with Clay, Peppers, Daniels, et al?

I just want camp to start already. So much to be excited about.

We may be in the comfortable and customary position of dark horse this season.

I wanna see how Peppers is used in the D, and how his presence helps CMIII.

Also how the presence of a hopefully reliable FS helps Morgan Burnett.

Lacy and Rodgers together for a full season, could be very dangerous.

How James Jones is replaced.

A motivated BJ Raji, scorned by his FA experience?

I'm looking forward to seeing how quickly HaHa picks up the defense more than anything else.

First off, just happy that football is getting really close to being here front and center for another 6+ months.

Looking forward to several things:
-- Differences (as expressed by MM in off-season pressors) in the defensive scheme/philosophy. How that all will play out, simplier/simplified packages?, less 2 man DL looks?, moving key players around to different positions (CM3, Perry, Peppers, Daniels)?, back end communication issues improved (fingers crossed)
-- TE position battles for starter, #2 and 53-man roster
-- Back up QB. I really think Tolzien has a shot to be the #2 and Flynn making the 53-man roster is certainly no lock.
-- WR positions 3-6
-- OL depth battles, most specifically does Sherrod have much to offer to challenge either Bahk or Bulaga/Barclay for a starting spot
-- Hyde vs Clinton-Dix at safety. IMO, neither has safety experience in the NFL, Clinton-Dix does at the college level, but can he catch on to the scheme to get #1 D reps early to secure a starting safety position.

Mostly, an injury free TC and pre-season Pray

Just seeing this sexy man back out on the field...

Seriously, it's just a pleasure to be able to watch that man every Sunday.

It is almost all about rookies for me.

-How well does HaHa pick up the defense, day 1 starter or does he ease in?
-Can Adams surpass Boykin at some point this season? Where do the other rookie WRs fit in, do we keep 6?
-How ready is Richard Rodgers? Is Lyerla going to fulfill the promise?
-Is Tretter our long-term starting C, or does Linsley take that from him?
-Who is Derek Sherrod? Does he show his talent or is he lost in the shuffle?
-Who is BJ Raji? Is he the stout NT that gets pressure or is he the fat guy on skates? This unfortunately is probably not going to be answered in camp.
-Do any/which CBs step their game up? With Bush and Williams FAs after the season, can any of the current guys on the roster show enough to replace them? I personally think with age and contract it will be best to move on from both of these players after this season and their contracts expire, can a younger player take the job?
-I'm eager to see if Adrian Hubbard plays to his potential now that he is in the NFL.
-Do we have any offensive linemen left after they get beat up by Khyri Thornton all summer?

PackIR's and forum depression. It's when I find most happiness in terms of sports for some reason.

That won't be too hard. Wink

I'm just praying we can stay relatively healthy for a change. Having a boat load of injuries is what has killed our chances for playoff success since the 2011 season IMO.

Seeing how Hyde holds up at safety. We know he can ball in the slot and be an alright boundary corner but we need him to be the quality depth we need at safety.

We don't know Hyde can ball in the slot.

72% of passes targeted at Hyde were completed.
101.5 was the opposing QBR when targeting Hyde.

Both of those numbers are awful.

Yep. Hayward and his knack for pilfering opponent passes was sorely missed last year. With he, and Hyde making that 2nd year jump, I expect the secondary to be much improved. Then, you have Ha Ha learning the ropes and working his way into the mix.

A healthy CM3 and the addition of Peppers, too. On offense…Rodgers at TE and Tretter/C. Also, Bakhtiari taking the next step and nailing down that LT position for years to come.

I think these last two drafts have the team back on track, after too many failed picks 2011/12. There's a ton of young talent and TT ponied up for Peppers.

-Looking forward to Brad Jones returning to his excellent 2012 form, when PFF had him as one of the top ILB's in the NFL. Wasn't he one of the walking wounded you alluded to in 2013?

Also interested in seeing how the team handles the Nelson and Cobb negotiations. Who stays and who leaves? Can they afford both?

At RB: The three headed monster of lacy, Starks and Harris is very solid, even with the unfortunate retirement of Franklin.

1. Seeing Rodgers and Lacy together for a whole season (knock on wood).
2. Improved secondary with HaHa and Hayward.
3. PEPPERS!!
4. Rookie pass catchers. Abby, Adams, and Rodgers. I wasn't hugely excited about the Rodgers pick, but it sounds like he was great in OTAs. Hopefully that can continue into camp.
5. Football is so close I can taste it.
