Going to mix it up now. Who makes you cringe every time they are on the field? Who already going into next year as your number one need?

Try to do starters at least for now.

The top group AKA the opposite of what you are voting on.

1) Clay Matthews

2) Sam Shields

3) Julius Peppers

4) Mike Daniels

5) Casey Hayward

6) Tramon Willaims

It's Jones IMO, there's a lot of average on that list.

Well average tends to get too close and tough for peeps to tell apart.

I'm going to take this another direction. I have to say that experience, not one player or position in this case, is the biggest weakness. We just added a ton of pieces to the defense and it will take more than a preseason for it to all mesh together properly. I strongly feel that our defense will be solid, but not special and reliable until the 2nd half of the season.

Assuming he's the starter, it's obviously Jones: Datone Jones. Otherwise it's whoever plays RDE/Nickel 3Tech, assuming it's not Daniels.

As much as I want to say Raji because I question his effort, even an effortless Raji serves a purpose. Jones is a liability.

The biggest liability on the Packers' defense? You're looking at them. Look at Hawk acting like he's all that when he's mediocrity personified, and Capers is the cat that swallowed the canary, possessing the best job in the NFL! Screw up that badly at your job and see how fast they show you the door.Wink Those two get contract extensions.

Go home. Seriously. It gets to the point where even if you were right, you'd be obnoxious.

Well none of those guys suck or make me cringe. Brad Jones would seem to be the easiest to improve on, but if those are being referred to as our worst starters on D along with the solid list of defenders we have in the other thread, this D seems to be poised for a big year.

Also, there is just way too much hate for Hawk, Capers, etc.. around here. TT and MM are super bowl winners and perennial playoff contenders and division winners. Not trusting their judgement at this point obviously just makes you a whiny you know what.

Side note; if Haha gets the hang of things by mid season-ish would could have a scary D come playoff time. Very exciting.

1. ILB Opposite of Hawk. Hawk is fine. Jones just played way too soft at times and his pass coverage didn't make up for his bad run fits.

2. Interior Run Defense. Raji is up and down, left and right. Thornton, Boyd and Worthy need to step up and get some consistent run defense next to Raji.

3. Safety Play. It's going to be incredibly difficult for HaHa Clinton-Dix to be as bad or somehow worse than Doc Jennings. But Morgan Burnett needs to step up a lot from last year. 0 interceptions from our Safeties won't cut it this year.

I just watched the Packers vs. 9ers playoff game from last year and man, Burnett is a liability at tackling in the open field. Obviously he's not the only one but that definitely jumped out at me.

Brad Jones in 2012 was a lot better than 2013. IMO safety play is our biggest weakness (besides overall health) and we all pray Ha Ha will eventually help fix that position this year.
