our d-line is loaded with talented YOUNG players with the exception of Raji who isn't father time by any stretch. who are you going to cut in order to keep him.

D. Jones
M. Daniels
BJ
J. Boyd
K. Thornton
J. Worthy
M. Neal LB/DE?
Pepp LB/DE?
L. Guion

you could probably take Guion and Raji out since they'll probably be used at NT primarily.

Jolly may be more valuable in that locker room than on the field. It will be weighing the pros and cons, my bet is it comes down to Thornton and if he can play year 1. Expect him to be signed cheap for TC nonetheless.

you don't think he's going to take some kind of coach/assistant position do you? i would imagine if he doesn't sign here he's gonna get some good offers around the league.

I'm all for bringing him back in

As the old saying goes, you can never have enough defensive lineman

worst case, you put one of the younger players on IR and red shirt them for a year

He's worthy especially if Boyd is starting at LE eventhough it's base D. Guion isn't much.

Gimme Jolly over Worthy. It's just not gonna happen for the kid.

I'd take a healthy Jolly over Guion pretty easily. Worthy, maybe. I don't know.

Worthy played at Jolly's level as a rookie. Unless it's clear that Worthy isn't going to be the same after his injury, I don't get how you can take Jolly over Worthy without having seen Worthy in TC?

I'd think Thornton is a lock, really. Jolly vs. Worthy for the final spot. Unless there are injuries, I think Guion is on the outside looking in.

A lock for a roster spot, but if he can't play he's a game day inactive, essentially redshirting, if that's the case you need another DL.

We don't know if the cleared Jolly is pre-injury form either. I wouldn't cut either Worthy or Guion before camp. I took that as, "who doesn't make the roster?" Final cuts version.

We also don't know WHO cleared him. The Packers medical staff? I doubt it. His own doctor? maybe. Supposedly we heard the same thing with Finley that his doctor gave him the OK, but it doesn't seem any NFL team has felt the same.

Unless a team clears him and signs him, I don't really think this means that much.
