http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/leagueoffice?leagueId=573633&seasonId=2014

Rosters: There are 16 total players with 9 starters including QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, D/ST, and K. The remaining 7 slots are for the bench. Injured Reserve will not be utilized.

Scoring: Very close to standard. The only changes made were to take out the miscellaneous categories that gave points for kickoff and punt return touchdowns since that is already included in the scoring for D/ST. No point per reception.

Teams and Divisions: One large division to compete within. I find that playoff seedings are less controversial this way.

Transactions and Keepers: No undroppable player list. Waiver system will be the Free Agent Auction style with $100 for the whole season. It processes every day (except Tuesday) at 11 a.m. EST. Any tie bids are broken by whoever has the worse record. No trade limit. The trade deadline will be December 4th at 12 p.m. EST which is the same day that the playoffs start for this league. Trade reviews last one day and take 5 votes from the league to veto. No keepers.

Schedule: There will be 13 regular season matchups which last one week each. Playoffs start on week 14 and they will last two weeks per round. There are 4 teams that make the playoffs. Playoff seeding ties are broken by head to head record in the regular season.

Draft: Undecided.

I'll be up for it. I was a bit unsure about the draft system last year, but it really grew on me.

I've done enough of them over the years that I don't really have a preference. Auction drafts for basketball and baseball are great but the draft strategy for football tends to fall more in-line with snake drafts. Whatever the league decides is fine but I'm going to be voting for a snake draft this time around.

I'm in if you still have spots available. Personally I like snake drafts myself. It's just more what I'm used to.

Auction ones are fun once in a while but I agree, I think this year we go with snake.

Just want to make sure, given the modern day make up of the NFL, that FLEX spot includes TEs right?

Yes. The FLEX spot includes RB, WR, and TE. I'm pretty sure we used that last year too.

Now that the league is filled we can have a formal discussion/vote on what type of draft to have. The date can be determined later but we can get this over with now. Like I said before I want a snake draft this year. It just fits better with football.

Coolio. Couldn't remember what league it was, but one of my leagues last year failed to adapt the FLEX spot over the previous RB/WR and it ended up costing me a few games as I had to choose between Gronk and Vernon Davis from week-to-week.

With that said, as far as the type of draft, I'm down to mix it up this year and do a snake draft.
