I'm going with Kendall Wright.

Wrestled between McCourty and Wright for this one. I went McCourty but I feel it is a tie.

Went with McCourty. A top 10 CB in the league and definitely a guy who's been as consistent as they come.

Went with McCourty. He's a model for consistency and while he's never been a high interception guy, it's because nobody's throwing at him! He's been the leader of this young defensive backfield and the thought that he's going to continue to get better is frightening (for QB's that is)

McCourty is more top 20 than top 10.

I give it to Wright. McCourty is probably my 3.

I'm going Wright here. I think that McCourty is just as good of a corner that Wright is a receiver, but Wright makes so many big plays, especially by moving the chains on 3rd. McCourty is a very good corner but he's just not the playmaker that Kendall is.

Why is Michael Roos not a listed option? He's easily the 2nd best player on the team...

Forgot him actually. Since you are the first person to mention him, doubt he would've won and no he's not the 2nd best player...

Being a borderline elite LT for several years in a row > Jason McCourty having his first season as a top 10 CB and Kendall Wright just barely cracking 1,000 yards and having an incredible two touchdowns aren't anywhere even close to Roos.

I can kinda get the love for McCourty at this spot as he was extremely good last season..and I know why people are excited for Wright...but the dude didn't do anything mind blowing last year.

No one was saying Nate Washington was the 2nd best player on the team in 2011 when he had a better season(7 tds, 1,023 yards) than what Wright did this past year. Wright caught just over a thousand yards..and only two touchdowns. That is not, and never will be, 2nd best player on the team worthy. He's not elite, borderline elite, great or even very good. He's just a good player at this point with the POTENTIAL to be a great/elite player.

I've got Wright listed at 4th, and to me that's pushing it quite a bit and I'm only listing him there based on potential.

It's:

Casey
Roos
McCourty

then a rather large drop to #4. Those 3 players are our only elite/borderline elite players.

Yea put me in the Roos camp. I think wright and McCourty make the next step this year but I give the nod to Roos on this one.

McCourty outplayed Roos last year.

We have good depth, but we lack top tier (elite) talent on the current roster. CJ carried the name before, but not the actual title the past couple of seasons.

Nothing like these polls to highlight that fact. Maybe a player or two makes that leap this year... Wright, Hunter, and/or Sankey are logical options at the skill positions; Warmack and Levitre could also make that jump. Locker would be the ideal option, though.

I picked years of experience and toughness. When the rubber meets the road, the Titans organization can (and has) call his number.
