Breaking News: Kahlil transferring from DLS to Clayton Valley Charter. Family decision. Not answering any questions at this time.

Tennessee is so lucky to land McKenzie. Not sure why he's leaving DLS but it doesn't really matter. I can't believe how big this kid is, I can't wait to see him play in college.

Clayton Valley Charter has a solid program too even if they're not DLS. He dominated at DLS last year with 74 tackles and 12 sacks, it'll be interesting to see what he does next year as a senior. He looks like a kid that could eventually develop into a first round pick with his size, strength, and explosiveness.

De la Salle stifles some guys that are individuals. Not individuals in a bad way. But that program wants guys to fit into their cookie cutter mold and I don't think that suits the kid. I heard they got on his case for wearing a beanie in a off campus workout. And they have historically not really wanted guys to be tow sport guys other than maybe a few exceptions. Get over yourselves. Everybody isn't a robot. That's why you lost him.

I just saw this too. Man so sad. But it's not as if his career is ruined. He's so good, he'll get to go wherever he wants, which for now it looks like it'll be where his pop and uncle went: Tennessee. This won't effect them wanting him. It may set him back a little bit, but not much I'd think. He's surrounded by too many people that will help him progress whether or not he plays this season.

As long as he stays in shape he should still be fine.

It might be a good thing for him less chance of getting hurt.
