I'm starting to feel a little better with how our front office is finally handling things. I don't know if Stephen is running a little more of the show now, or what, or if it's Red Jesus, but I like the direction we're headed. Under $50 million in 2016 sounds great!

That's probably with only 25-30 people under contract

Signing a player that wasn't retained by one of the worst teams in the NFL is not really noteworthy . Just a camp body in case of injury, but please no more injuries already.

Not sure what you're talking about. Uwaneri has no injury concerns and is a very good signing at this stage. He will push for a starting spot.

He could...but I think if he sticks it will mostly be for depth.

Brought in as camp body, and in case of injury on the OL during TC. Kind of a Meh signing, but considering was cut as he wouldn't take pay cut in Jax which has been one of the worst teams in the NFL for the past 2-3 years really not excited about signing.

Best case scenario, he comes in and beats out Burnindeuce for the backup OG spot. Worst case, he doesn't make the team. No harm in trying him out.

Don't apologize because buckwild is being an [inappropriate/removed] ! All signings are legitimate news stories regardless of the talent of the player or lack of name recognition. At this time last year he probably said the same thing about George Selvie who was also released from the Jags. That turned out pretty well for us. So 1. Lets not rush to judge this guy before we even see him in a practice and B. Lets not stifle news stories about what we're all here for in the first place.

Aren't we all sensitive didn't know it was that time of the month. Just a Meh signing is all I meant. Didn't mean to come across so harsh.

This is just a meh signing, until Leary or our beloved first round pick sucks or goes down in week 1-16 and you're all pissed off at Jerry for not securing depth at such a crucial position. This is a 90+ career starter and 29 years old. Prime age for an OG. He could start and be solid or he could be backup or just be cut. But don't tell me because since he is a cap casualty from one of the worst teams means he is no good. There is such a thing as a good player on bad or mediocre teams. "Oh look at that, Ware got cut." "Bro, Cowpokes suck, so Ware must suck... MEH!"

Much the same was said about Selvie.

It is worth turning over the stone since you never know what you may find.
