Considering that there is no speed on the roster (Tiquan underwood has yet to impress), Denario Alexander would be a great option for a low price - surprised he hasn't been picked up yet considering his limitless ceiling. Also, dare I say, Santonio Holmes for maybe a short term 2 year contract - enough to hold the team over until younger talent can replace.

barring injury i'm betting there's a 0% chance we sign a WR...

it's gonna be benji, avant, cotch, tiquan, and then two or three randoms. i'm guessing philly and king.

Yeah but when you look at teams like the colts, saints, falcons last year, and 49ers, this team is pathetic at helping it's qb. Trying to get help for cam. All of the wide receivers save for Benjamin are over the hill and/or we're cut from other teams - there is no one else with "potential" and avant and crotchery in particular, have reached there not so high ceilings and have no play making ability - they only have reliable hands. This is why I was so shocked that we passed up on players like Moncrief, Bryant, and Coleman in the draft and in free agency. Even defensively, Purifoy and or the other cb from Florida should have been brought in to compete for the do spots.

Eric Winston, the NFLPA President, is still available. Just saying.

I honestly thing Holmes will remained unemployed unless a team gets extremely desperate at WR.

You guys do not want him, he has quit on two teams now. And he is a bad team mate. Not worth the trouble.

Right now since June 1 cuts we are 6.9 million over the cap I don't see why the Panthers haven't looked to sign a Vet OT right now Bryant McKinnie & Eric Winston still out there & would be a upgrade even if its a 1 year vet deal....This team can't be serious starting B.Bell at LT.

We'll be fine either way. Either Chandler/Bell will take LT, or we will sign an OT and put Chandler/Bell at RT.
