http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000352441/article/raiders-owner-talks-for-new-stadium-in-11th-hour

Quote:
Raiders owner Mark Davis said Tuesday from the Spring League Meeting in a conversation with NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport that the team can pony up $400 million toward a new stadium, but the club need's help.

The team's current home, O.co Coliseum, has been around since 1966, and is one of the oldest facilities in the NFL.

This is a joke. Absolute incompetence by the City of Oakland.

Let's get this done.

Wink Just bugging you.

I personally am on the Los Angeles train. Thats right, I said it. I would be cool with a decent stadium in Oakland, but would love THE stadium of the NFL in LA.

Oakland won't back Mark. The city doesn't have the funds if they did this would of been done already. Mayor Quan is trying to be re elected she was say what the fans want to hear but do nothing in the mean time.

Don't get your hopes up for LA. Roger Goodell won't give Mark LA ... If the raiders were to move to la Davis won't be the owner.

Did Mark steal your girlfriend or something? If so, can you blame her?

+1

1) I am not an Oakland hater. Oakland doesn't have the money to make the deal. wake up!

2) Goodell doesn't want a Davis in LA. Imvho, the only ways this happens is if the Raiders are the second team. Keep an eye on the Rams.

I told you years ago invest an a time share near the projected Farmers site. eventually this will happen.

I think the LA talks need to happen now.

Oakland doesn't have much to offer, honestly. Warriors going to San Fran. Not a destination for a Super Bowl, so a super high tech stadium is way out of the question.

LA can provide all of that. Don't want the Rams and their OC loving arses back here.

that would be so weird.
Portland Oregon is a strange town.

But at least they'd be closer to me!

Portland is a strange town, but it's a great town w/ passionate fans.

Portland Raiders has a ring to it.

I'm not big on LA as it's a fickle town that only follows a winner. But I have family there, so at least I'd get to more games.

I hope they don't go to L.A.

That city really doesn't know how to handle a football team and majority of LA Raider fans i've met have made me facepalm.

Portlandia? Right by Nike headquarters? Possible uniform changes? No thanks. I need to visit there tho.
