If were picking outside the top 15 what about this scenario....

We either trade or release Dashon "The Hawk" Goldson.

We move Banks to FS (where alot of us think he would be a better fit)

And we draft either

P.J. Williams - 6' 200lbs - CB - Florida State

Or

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu - 5'10 190lbs - CB - Oregon

I mean I like it, but I really think Keith Tandy may take the FS spot over this year. He has player pretty well when given the chance, and I think he is really going to excel in Lovie's scheme.

If we are picking in the teens, I really want to solidify either the offensive or defensive lines.

My early watch list for us (with TB selecting 17th).

DL - Dante Fowler - Florida
OL - La'el Collins - Louisiana State
QB - Bryce Petty - Baylor
DL - Shalique Calhoun - Michigan State
WR - Jaelen Strong - Arizona State
WR - Stefon Diggs - Maryland
OL - Brandon Scherff - OL - Iowa
DL - Mario Edwards - Florida State
DL - Michael Bennett - Ohio State

Probably my list

I always thought Banks best position in the nfl would be FS. Ball hawk and willing tackler. We'll see how this year plays out.

Changed the topic. Since College Football is in full swing, gives us something to talk about on Saturdays and this weekend's recent coverage of some excellent college football and more forward to come.

My take aways:
- Todd Gurley is a beast.
- PJ Williams is a very very good CB.
- Love me some Leonard Williams. May be the best overall player on my board.
- Connor Cook rebounds from a dirty hit to throw a 80 yaRD TD in stride.

Can't wait for Michigan State/Oregon next Saturday.

Potential needs:
RG
QB
DE

With that said, I hope we don't draft a guard in the first round in 2015. After the first week of football I can honestly say I wasn't impressed with Hundley nor Winston. Hundley will not be a first round pick at this rate. It doesn't seem like he has a mental grasp of the game the way Teddy Bridgewater did. Against a meh UVA defense he struggled to read the defense and for a 3rd year starter that's alarming. Winston I'll give him more leeway because he is a lot less experienced and played a much better defense. Mariota I'll have to get a better read against when they play a better opponent.

Ignoring needs, I want Derrick Henry eventually.

Michigan State next week. I'm amped for that game. I love their defense. Plus two of my favorite QB prospects: Cook vs. Mariotta.

Wouldn't mind teaming up McCoy inside with a monster like Leonard Wilkins either down the road. Can never have enough good DL.

Connor cook looks like an nfl qb in this game. Steps up in the pocket makes big time throws.

I love Michigan states defense. Trae Wayne's, Drummond , Calhoun.

Cook is a gamer, that's for sure. Zero fear/hesitation in the pocket.

Draft Thread! Yeah! Well lets get at it, its week 3. Rolling Eyes

I'm a fan of Jason Licht and so far his draft picks and free agent signings have been working out well with the exception of Johnson. I say all of this after 2 regular season games of course. With that said we need to keep killing the draft if we ever want to be good again. Player talent should hopefully hide some of Lovie's deficiencies as a HC, or get him fired if we keep under performing.

Dream draft: We suffer through another awful season...which will be beyond painful. But we get a shot at Marcus Mariota and Denzel Parryman. These two players will DRASTICALLY help improve positions of need at QB and MLB. (Maybe we resign Foster then move him to SLB)

Round 1 - Pick #1: Marcus Mariota

Stealing my thunder eh?

Glad we both have the same wants. From there we need to add another guard and hit on a situational pass rusher, a Willie young type guy
