DGB Leonard Williams or Randy Gregory at this point. Get a #1 or build the nasty Dline.

Deontay Greenberry

could emerge with a monster season. 6'3 200 pounds from Fresno plays in Houston. Stats as a true sophmore last year: 82 recs 1202 yards 11tds
Numbers should improve and he has no character issues like DGB

So much talent again at WR and DL next year. I might be ok with taking a defensive back first round next year because I think really good DL and WR will fall next year into the middle round because of the sheer numbers of talented wr and dl classes.

Depth wise:
2015 DL> 2014 DL

TALENT wise (that's right you heard me):
2015 WR>2014 DL

Falling in love with a one game wonder I see? He's not nearly as good as that one game indicated.

I've seen more than one game, so I'm not completely basing my opinion on that one game...(but I have been guilty of that before....Boyd really impressed me a few games last year, especially that bowl game against lsu...still one of the better college performances I've seen in a big game)...
The one people will really be disapointed in is famous jameis, Huntley, and mariotta..
-I wouldn't take Huntley in the first 2 rounds
-I wouldn't take Winston in the 1st
-I wouldn't take mariotta in the top 20

6months from now, they will probably fall farther in my book.

How do you quantify "the best QB"? Are you saying Knight will the first QB taken in the draft in 2015, the first player taken overall, statistically the best, the Heisman front runner or all of the above? Regardless, if you are talking first overall it won't happen. In the history of modern football, iirc, no QB under 6'2" has ever been drafted 1st overall. Doesn't OK run a spread offense? Yeah, not gonna happen.

Pass.

You can't be thin and slow at WR. Now if Greenberry played in a traditional offense with those numbers and gained 20 lbs we'd be talking.

I think he will be the best in the NFL of that bunch. It is hard for me to say that this soon...because I have only seen 3 games of his. But! I would take him over huntley, mariotta, and winston. I dont think none of those 3 QBs will find success in the NFL.

-Huntley has big accuracy issues, and struggles to throw the ball in the red zone.
-Marriotta scares me because ALL Oregon Qbs look good in that system. I was really turned off from him toward the end of last season
-Winston....I am sorry...but the guy seems like he gots A LOT of growing up to do. He showed a lot of flaws in his game against Auburn. He has an amazing team around him, it will be interesting to see how he performs this year.

not quite..If we get a pick of the litter at QB, and a QB like Kevin Hogan is available..I would be all for getting him. Why not? Wont ever be a good team , until we get a QB.
My point, were not passing on a QB because we picked Carr..promise you that.

I find that hard to believe. Carr will get atleast 3 years to prove the doubters wrong.

More like two if the Raiders are in play for Hackenberg. Carr will be the QBotF until an obvious transcendent talent comes along. Mariota, Winston, Hogan are not transcendent. Browne has a chance.

It's WAY too early to take this seriously but currently I like the following and am thinking of doing a Raiderwatch follow in the draft thread similar to what I did for Clowney for a few weeks until someone pooh poohed me. DE Mario Edwards, Jr. (who I think is more suited to UT imvho). It might be off the wall but I like WR Darren Waller of GTech.
