AJ will get spoon fed a job with ESP.... Oops I mean the SEC Network as an analyst whenever he wants it. Or possibly some cushy assistant to the assistant coach gig. You know, something like "offensive quality control" coach or "quarterback film room" coach. |

His arm isn't NFL caliber. He won't get a lucrative, long term second contract IMO. |

We just haven’t seen something of his kind. I like it. I love change. The kid hasn’t done anything. They’re putting him out there like he’s Justin Bieber — like he’s egging folks on and doing wild and rich folks stuff. He’s not doing stuff like that. He’s a good kid.”

I am curious as to how the Browns ownership is going to lecture Manziel about character issues:

Speaking of character issues...
Major questions for me now about Teddy's judgement. Cargo jorts are the fashion equivalent of a money phone, a Bieber selfie, you name it -- a crime against humanity, or at least good sense. Winter Park must be scrambling, someone's gotta tell Teddy to rein it in.
At least they hide his skinny knees... |

Apparently their part of the wall blocking a free kick. _________________

Jorts are a must have in the wardrobe. I prefer mid-thigh cut offs, but Teddy can make those work. |

I remember the "Mayne Event" segment from 2009 where they were making fun of Favre and his Wrangler Jeans endorsement and Jared Allen was wearing the jorts with the pockets hanging out from underneath. I'm gonna miss that guy lol. _________________

Troy Aikman: “I thought there was a real good chance if [Manziel] fell to the Cowboys’ pick that he would take him. I understand why they didn’t. It would have certainly added a lot of excitement around here, but I don’t think it would have been best for the club, certainly not in the short term. There’s a lot of other needs, as we saw last year, that this team has, so it was probably the right thing not taking him, but I was a little surprised. I think that had to have been a difficult decision for Jerry."
“I think when the time comes for him to get serious about football and put in the time, I’m confident he’ll do that. He’s going to have to do that if he’s going to be successful. There’s no shortcuts in this league to becoming a great player. Cleveland has invested a lot in him and expects a lot from him, and I’m sure he recognizes that. He likes to have a good time, I know that, but if he can stay focused on football and commit himself, which is what it’s going to require, I think he has a chance to be really good.”

The NFL will announce on Monday that more Johnny Manziel No. 2 Cleveland Browns jerseys were sold on its official website during the first quarter of the league's fiscal year than any other player jersey.
Notable rookies to crack the list besides Manziel and Sam included Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (No. 13), Houston Texans defensive end and top overall pick Jadeveon Clowney (No. 16) and Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles (No. 18).
