I can get with that. What I like about this roster is it's full of a bunch of young players. Outside or Romo, Witten, Free everyone is under 30 I believe.

Damned if that dline doesn't look awfully good.

I think Coleman would be a 1 and Bass the 3 though

With Martin and Bernie as flex guys, I think we drop weems and Patrick for Heath and a WR (maybe the kid from Vandy)

Interested to see the competition between malena and randle

I'm wondering, with the pick of Hitchens to back up Lee, does that now make Holloman a candidate for SLB? I think they may leave Carter at WILL and let Holloman compete for the SAM linebacker spot.

Broaddus stated that the staff views Holloman as a SLB or MLB in this scheme. So I don't see him competing for the WLB job.

I don't see Jeff Heath getting cut, I think the team views him as a ST stud, last resort safety. Danny McCray 2.0.

Super nitpicky but still

Curious why Selvie is at right end in your predictions. He played left last year and I believe he struggled on the right when he was asked to play there. Also think ive seen Bryan Broaddus say several times he is strictly a left side guy.

thats weird, because what I recall Broaddus saying was that he was better suited to the WDE... And he absolutely did not struggle... It was his play there that caught our attention in the HoF game. He only moved to the left when all of our LDEs went down with injury

Interesting. Well maybe I have it mixed around in my head then.

Yeah we have a very young team. What struck me most was the lack of depth at OL and the need for a young QB for the future. The DL, while not riddled with stars, has several promising players and a great deal of depth, which is a huge improvement over last years squad.

It is very possible about the DL, although I will mention that is one area where 'position' I think will mean less than in other spots because I think we will see a heavy rotation.

In terms of the OL. I can't envision we only take 7 OL. We take at least 8, and I think 9.

I think the LBer battles will be some of the most unique we see. The only reason I listed them as I did (which was inverse) is because that is what has been alluded to by Rod. But Training Camp can shake all of this.

I almost kept Heath. But I don't like 10 DBs (with CBs) and preferred to spend it on the DL. So it came down to Heath or Matt Johnson. I went with hope over practicality.
