So what did we give up for this? I would've preferred Reynolds over him if we were picking at the CB position, but I like him well enough. He's a small, ballhawking corner that plays the ball like a WR. Plays great zone coverage. I think he'll be a pretty good fit for our system as Captain 2.0. _________________

Apparently we gave up the 7th round pick we got from the Giants to move up. Not big deal. _________________

Nice value, I'm not upset over it. That pick essentially has no value on the draft chart, haha. We've got one more pick, though. Seems like it's over too soon. _________________

Don't know much about him but if he could be a captain or verner I love this pick. |

bum! No competition in the Mountain west or whatever weak [inappropriate/removed] conference he played in and he didn't dominate AND ran a 4.63??? Clowney has 70lbs on this kid and ran faster! BUM! Luckily for him we have a devastating pass rush that can make other bums like Munnerlyn look good! _________________ I wish I could get paid to talk football, its all I do! |

Is it wrong though? No! Better CBs on the board and Gettleman said he's opposed to trading up but he does this? Dude, a punter ran a 4.6 40??? Lmao! You need speed somewhat to be an effective CB, has decent ball skills, but played in a weak conference so those numbers are inflated! I'll eat crow

He's fast enough to cover our first round WR, and I don't see you crying over him. _________________

Clowney covering a WR in space? That's ridiculous! Would love to see that? Ban me for what? Not liking a CB in the draft? I like the 1st round pick and he's going to be a beast! That's why you heard nothing! _________________ I wish I could get paid to talk football, its all I do! |

So a 4.6 is way too slow for a corner, but perfectly fine for a receiver? _________________

Wow, there's a stretch. You dont think a 5th round CB will be successful. Way to go out on a limb with the guarantees.
Most 5th round picks dont make it. At any position. Including stud LBs like Christian Jones... who didnt even get drafted. Along with Reynolds and Hampton. I kinda liked Reynolds. But maybe there is a reason 32 GMs passed on these guys 7+ times.
Just let it play out, angry guy. _________________
