Now this is a Seattle pick. Bigjoe is right on the money with the Malcolm Smith comparison. This is a GREAT athlete who can become a great football player. He'll get to sit and just play special teams the next year or two and then will hopefully be next man up

This is likely Wright or Smith's eventual replacement. Kid could be a monster. All the athleticism to be a HOF'er, just needs to put it together on the field.

I LOVE this pick. KPL can be a monster as a 4-3 WLB with his speed and ability to rush the passer. He's going to be the best pick from this draft.

The thing you really can't question this FO on is their ability to assess and develop LB talent. I'm pumped to see how they groom up a kid with this type of athleticism.

I'm glad this FO realizes how good they are at bringing in LB talent and, instead of overpaying these guys they've already drafted after their first contract, recycle through cheap young talent.

Wagner is the only guy I expect we'll pay to keep around. That's only if he continues the play he displayed the last 8 games or so

We'll see. Not totally sold on Bobby yet.

Wagner likely gone too. Just don't see Seattle pony'ing up much for their LBers. All Seattle really asks of their LBers is to cover and fill the right gaps. They're not asking the LBers to be the stars of the team and make up for inadequate secondary and line play. They also don't ask their LBers to rush QBs much if at all (evidence by Bruce Irvin).

We just don't ask anything of our LBers that 3-4th rounders can't do just as decently. Continue to draft athletic guys and coach up their coverage game, and done lol

I think Wagner is more valuable than some of the rest of you. I think his range, pursuit and tackling ability is a rare quality in this league and a combination of aspects we're only seeing in players like Navarro Bowman and Thomas Davis to a lesser extent. As long as we're in a Division with a player like Kaepernick and a league where Pocket passers are on their way out in favor guys with active legs, I think the value is there. He still has plenty of things he can add to his game.
