I've always liked Tom, but LOLZ at him not starting until 2016.

"Two years of Matt Cassel"?

Ha, no way that happens.

Unless Cassel goes on a tear this season or something.

I think it's more about bragging rights than anything.

Yup. And it's really easy to take little things like this personally, even if it doesn't matter.

Imagine if some hugely popular publication rated all of us FF posters across a wide spectrum of abilities. And you get down to your name, and you're way below schlubs like me who rarely post – it's understandable you'd feel a bit of a twinge, even if it's kind of unreasonable when you step back and actually think about it.

We all know that we'd at least be above VD, so we'd have that going for us. Wink

There is no way that Cassel starts for 2 years before Teddy comes in. Thats absurd. IF Cassel was thought of that highly, Rick wouldnt have signed that bum Josh Freeman last year during the middle of the season. Not to mention scout every QB known to mankind this offseason, as well as drafting one in the 1st round.

The best players should play. The coaches get paid for one reason, to win. And in order to win, you play your best players. I hate hearing all this bs that Teddy needs a year on the bench. If he is the best QB of the group then start him day 1, period.

I think Pelissero was just quoting one unnamed player.

Cassel will probably start the first 5 or 6 games at least, then the Vikings will make the change to Teddy sometime in the middle of the season. (That's my theory anyway)

I was just thinking about how glad I am that we have now drafted a QB with a normal American name like Theodore, not some fancy name like Christian or Tarvaris, so we had to change their name to Chris or Tom. Wink

That's digging pretty deep in the FF Vikings archives right there.

I was wondering if someone was going to pick up what I was throwing down. Laughing
