We're finally here. I know that for many of us this is one of the biggest sporting events of the year and it's pretty much a holiday weekend. Keep all draft related discussion both for the Ravens and every other team in this topic.

On a somewhat related note if we're having individual threads again for all of Baltimore's draft picks I won't be able to do them this year. I kind of just realized last night that I won't be able to be actively discussion the draft as it happens until later on both Thursday and Friday and then only the earlier portion on Saturday.

Don't worry. I'll handle the draft picks threads for individual players.

I got to get a silly Tom Brady picture ready, not sure why I stretched top 50 to first round Laughing

But seriously, CAN'T WAIT. There's almost no chance we completely trade out of the first from where we are at, so for once we can be confident that we get a shiny new player today.

According to the “experts” our first pick will either be Mosley, Clinton-Dix, or Ebron. Rolling Eyes

I like the Mosely pick. Pairing him with Arthur Brown could be a good ILB duo for our next generation defense.

I like Morgan Moses too. I've been on him for a while and think he would be an excellent fit next to KO.

Not much on Ebron. I don't think we need to go TE in the first round, I like Furstenburg and think it's a waste to go TE in the 1st round. Ebron seems like a good player but I'm willing to put money on the fact we won't take him.

Something tells me that the names associated with our pick (Mosley, Clinton-Dix, Ebron) might be designed to get someone to trade up into our pick.

I know what Ozzie said about upgrading the ILB position, and that we also need a FS, but it seems like he might be trying to get a bidding war going between teams like the 49ers, Broncos, Eagles, and maybe the Packers in a trade down scenario with the names that are being tossed around there.

That doesn't mean he wouldn't take one of those guys, but I would actually be shocked if we make a selection at #17 unless Martin or someone else falls dramatically into that spot that fills an immediate need.

But because I am the proverbial broken clock and only right twice a day, welcome to Baltimore CJ Cool

Dude... Ray Lewis didn't get his haircut going into this draft talk. Laughing

In terms of this draft, I'd be pissed if we go Mosley. I want Barr, but that's because pass rushers can be easily substituted and moved around to get them on the field. With Brown and Smith, I don't see Mosley as a pick we should make- at all.

Count me out as someone who wants anything to do with ANY Alabama defensive player.

At least they won't be getting Mack or Watkins.
