How I think we,ll fare, and my confidence in each selection (with 100% meaning I'd bet big money on that result, and 50% meaning it's pretty much a toss up for me)

vs Jags W (80%)
@ Colts W (55%)
vs Redskins W (65%)
@ 49ers L (75%)
vs Rams W (55%)
vs Giants L (55%)
-BYE-
@ Cardinals L (60%)
vs Texans W (75%)
vs Panthers W (60%)
at Packers L (80%)
vs Titans W (65%)
at Cowboys W (55%)
vs Seahawks L (65%)
vs Cowboys W (60%)
at Redskins L (50%)
at Giants W (50%)

So my early prediction would be 10-6. As you can see I really don't have a lot of confidence in half of my picks, which is why I could see as few as 7 wins or as much as 11. I think it all come down to our divisional games, which are all damn near toss-ups at this point. If we go 4-2 or better in the division then I think we're in the playoffs, but if we're 3-3 or worse then I think we're likely out because I don't see us doing any better than 6-4 outside of the division which would mean 9-7 or worse, which generally does not get you in the playoffs.

I'm glad there's some extra time before the Seahawks game, might make that game a little less embarrassing.

Eh, I guess that's fair.

How long has there been a third game on Thanksgiving? I guess I'm always food-comatosed to notice.

I plan on buying tickets to that game, and it annoys me that you think we're going to be embarrassed. They aren't unbeatable, and Chip has proven that he can gameplan around a talented, physical defense (see Cardinals game, who, by the way, beat the Seahawks). Have a little bit of team pride, you shouldn't be scared of anyone, especially since we haven't even drafted yet.

And I'm so sick of the debbie downers saying "we faced weak competition" and "we have no talent" and "we have a terrible defense" and "no way we have the same luck with injuries." People were predicting 5-11 and 9-7 being our ceiling before last season started and look what happened. How about the fact that we are heading into Chip Kelly year two, and teams with good coaches tend to progress in those situations. We're also pretty much guaranteed to add a talented WR in the draft, one that will probably be able to do everything instead of being a two-trick pony (which is probably why Desean was off the field so many times last season, too frail and selfish to run routes toward the middle of the field). People don't realize how much that can help our offense (addition by subtraction), pulling defenders toward the middle of the field will give guys (like Shady and Sproles) space to break things outside.

With what Chip Kelly did with the talent last season, everyone should be nothing but excited heading into this one.

Don't mean to take it out on you, but I fully expect to beat the Seahawks at home and make a statement to the rest of the NFC.

Eagles record will be 11-5 or 12-4. In 2014 we will emerge as the supreme NFC team.

I wanna say since 07? We played the Cardinals at home for the third game in '08 and I don't think we were the first ones.

We have no one to cover desean but its not like he hasn't been shut down before. The blueprint is out on how to stop him. Or at least try to. Cary + Jenkins over the top and pray for the best.

And vet...solid post. Remember, respect all, fear NONE. We ain't neva scurred Evil or Very Mad

Called the jags opener. Seems like the nfl likes to make us play some useless team if we start at home.

Also the second redskins game is on a saturday. So that is another nationally televised one.

I'm really surprised the Seattle game wasn't prime time.

BTW, NFC East Prime time Games

Giants: 5
Cowboys: 4
Eagles: 4
Redskins: 3

This seems a little off to me...

Cowboys have 5 primetime games plus the annual Thanksgiving game which is against you guys this yr. Also a game in London week 10 against the Jags which blows pretty hard imo. At least you guys don't have to go to London
