The very first one was started by Supe because he saw that picture and felt that Afalava had "Singletary eyes" and wanted us to see. Thus, Random Bears Thoughts was born after I suggested we keep that thread going for smaller transactions and tidbits about the Bears. _________________ 👮

Agreed. Didn't embarrass himself in shoot the puck either. Sign him up and camp him in front of the net on the PP! _________________

Side note, if Clowney does fall to the Rams, there is a chance Chris Long could be available via trade. What would you guys think of grabbing Long and moving Houston inside? _________________

His contract would be a major issue in any trade…approaching 30 years old also doesn’t help him but for the right deal you would always love to add a player of that quality. _________________ Adopt-a-Bear...Adrian Amos |

I think that once we signed Allen the likelihood that we make that move went down to pretty much zero, and even before then was probably unlikely since his contract wouldn't fit within our cap structure at all as it is presently constructed. _________________

Quote: | Seahawks signed FS Earl Thomas to a four-year extension through 2018.
Per NFL Network, the "blockbuster" deal makes Thomas "easily" the league's highest paid safety. Having started 64-of-64 games since entering the league as the 14th overall pick out of Texas in 2010, Thomas has logged 15 career interceptions, five forced fumbles, and 32 pass breakups while arguably emerging as football's premier safety. Still only 25 years old (in May), Seahawks players are alleged to privately consider Thomas the team's best defensive back, ahead of Richard Sherman. It's early, of course, but Thomas is on a Hall of Fame early-career track with three Pro Bowls and two first-team All-Pro berths through four seasons. |
Quote: | NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport broke the news Monday that the Seahawks agreed to a blockbuster four-year contract extension worth $40 million with $27.725 guaranteed, per a source informed of the situation. |
Big time money...he deserves it tho. _________________ Adopt-a-Bear...Adrian Amos |
