Here is GM Mock #4 for the Eagles. I didn't really put in as much into this one. No trades or anything, just straight picks.

22- Dee Ford DE/OLB Auburn
There are things that worry be about Ford, but at the end of the day he can rush the passer. Year one, he can be a 3rd down and passing down specialists and grow into the starter opposite of Barwin. Watching this team towards the end of the year not generating enough pass rush was on of their biggest issues.
As a point of reference Pryor, Cooks, Beckham were all off the board.

54- Deone Bucannon S Washington State
Ideal 2nd Round pick in my opinion. He is exactly what the Eagles need at Safety. This is the only mock I've done where he has dropped this far, so I have my doubts that this would happen in real life. If he drops here, the Eagles better sprit to the podium!

86- Paul Richardson WR Colorado
Not the size receiver that many are clamoring for but a good speed weapon with decent height (6'). There was a massive run on receivers in the late 2nd and early 3rd. I think Richardson's speed can really add to the offense.

122- Dontae Johnson CB NC State
I really like his value in the 4th for the Eagles. He might be a Safety, but has a chance to be a really good CB in the defense as well. He is a long body corner with good speed. He will be good depth and can develop into a starter or at least a quality 3rd/4th CB.

162- Matt Hazel WR Costal Carolina
No good value at LB, DT or G at this spot, so I doubled up on WR with one of my favorite day 3 prospects. Hazel has the size and speed to really excel in this offense. Maclin/Cooper/Richardson/Hazel is a pretty decent WR corps

236- Spencer Long G Nebraska
Love the value here. If he didn't suffer a knee injury, he'd be a day 2 pick. Long can be a steal. He'll be able to learn behind Herremans and Mathis and will have a chance to take over a G spot in a couple years.

Because I didn't trade, didn't get a chance to address some secondary needs.

Bash away!

I think this one turned out well. Richardson is definitely flying under the radar right now, no one is really talking about him, but he is a quality player. Dee Ford has the potential, and has a chip on his shoulder due to his size. He wants to be the next Robert Mathis, gotta love that. And getting Bucannon and Johnson definitely addressed some secondary needs, I guess you were referring strictly to CB.

Would be interesting if the eagles like Dee or not. He isn't versatile and lacks size. Could see the eagles having very little interest in him.

I agree. But if you aren't going to be versatile the one thing you better be able to do is rush which he can do.

The pass rush options or so slim. If they don't go Ford in round 1 or Marcus Smith or Demarcus Lawrence in Round 2.(In the mocks I've done Attrachu (sp?) is usually gone) After that there isn't much I like (unless I am missing someone I should be paying attention to)

In Round 2 is when all the WR's seem to go, so if the Eagles want a big time impact WR, they will have to get in on the run in Round 2. The mock I am currently doing 14 WR's gone before pick 70.......craziness.

The interesting question is could Kony Ealy play OLB in a 3-4. He's got more of the size Chip looks for, but may not be able to play in space.

I like all except Matt Hazel.

But, that's not a big complaint.
