And another, and best so far in my opinion, offer has been made. Denver would be willing to trade their 31st and 146th picks for our 48th and 79th picks. I would be willing to do that deal to go up and get Jimmie Ward. Would anybody else? We really need to have some sort of consensus before I do a deal like that.

Just to correct you. That deal is from Seattle and its #32 and #146 for #48 and #79.

If Jimmy Ward is still on the board then I'd pull the trigger

I'm happy enough to go do that deal. That sorts out our biggest needs and we can just sit around and let the BPA come to us at each spot the rest of the draft.

Alright, due to the lack of overwhelming response I'm going to go ahead and make an executive decision to accept Washington's offer to go up and get Ward. Here are the terms:

Baltimore receives:

Pick 34 - 2nd
Pick 142 - 5th

Washington receives:

Pick 48 - 2nd
Pick 79 - 3rd
Pick 194 - 6th

Ward is nearly perfect for this team and I know he has a lot of fans on this forum. Don't hate me too much... Laughing

Thanks guys. We were going to draft Jimmie Ward, so if you wanted him you were going to have to go through us. We wanted him but ultimately we're a team with too many teams to turn down an extra 3rd round pick. I think he's going to be a dominate safety for ya'll.

Our next pick isn't until Monday now.

For what it's worth it looks like Washington was going to take Ward there if I didn't trade up with them. So there's that.

With the draft taking a break for Easter all of our picks were moved back a day. Here are the remaining picks we have and their time slots:

99 (compensatory): 4/22 11 am - 12 pm
134 (compensatory): 4/23 2 pm - 2:30 pm
138 (compensatory): 4/23 4 pm - 4:30 pm
142: 4/23 6 pm - 6:30 pm
175 (compensatory): 4/24 7 pm - 7:30 pm

I should be around for all of them except the last one. We need a volunteer to be around at that time and count up the points off of the draft boards and make the pick in the official thread.

Alright everybody our pick is due tomorrow morning at noon so feel free to start posting your boards whenever. In this instance you should probably include more than three guys and then I will just take the top three players from each board. There are still eight more picks to go before we're on the clock.

I've been keeping an updated list for those who have been taken so far. Here's the link:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhJ_pYWLXY5PdHpOQ3JqNE9vUlktY3JNb1IzUUxHY0E#gid=0

This looks to be a real BPA pick for us coming up. I'd like to target a cornerback but the list of remaining players at that position is underwhelming for a 3rd round selection. Some guys I'm keeping an eye on are Jeremy Hill, Lache Seastrunk, Bishop Sankey, Paul Richardson, Terrence Coleman, Ego Ferguson, and maybe Louchiez Purifoy.

Looks like we have a tie between Coleman and Richardson. They each have 6 points. I'm not sure how to break the tie. Coleman has two first place votes but Richardson is on three of the four boards where Coleman is only on two. Hmm...
