Out of your top 4 I really only like Jackson.

I'd be alright with taking a shot on SJB, but I'd rather not, especially since I'd rather grab Pierre Desir, Phillip Gaines, or Bashaud Breeland here, or wait to see if one of them make it to 88. I'd give Purifoy a look at 88 too, but not here.

I agree OG to me is more of a concern ( will Boling be ready) and most of the Db I like will still be there in the 3rd. We can think of moving down in there's a run on DB's but I doubt that will happen.

My only problem with taking an OG that can't kick out to OT after Whit moves on is that I actually like Boling. However, I'm completely on board with Gabe.

I personally say we go for either Kareem Martin, Phillip Gaines, or Pierre Desir and get a versatile OL and a CB/DE (whatever we didn't get here) in the 3rd and 4th.

I'd think Carlos Hyde is the obvious pick here. We went defense in the first round and are ok on the D-line and secondary if we didn't pick anyone at all. No defensive player drafted here would be a starter in 2014.

So if we're looking at offense, Hue has said he wants to run more and we need a power back to complement Gio. Hyde fits the bill to a tee. He's big, has quick feet, and good hands. He's a massive upgrade from BJGE. Gabe Jackson would be an ok pick too but Hyde adds more value to the team.

Saints would consider trading up from #58. PM me if you're interested!

I'd love to take Hyde, but I personally feel like we need to address CB, OL, and DE before the 5th Round...

If we would've gotten Verrett in the 1st, I'd be a lot more for taking Hyde.

Pick one and when we are OTC, we'll vote on it. I understand the wanting a versatile lineman but I'd rather have a run slamming OG, even if Boling is OK he's rather a weak run blocker, and we are looking to up grade our running game and that starts with the O-line. I don't see any OT on the board I'd trust at LT. I like Martin but I think the team sees Hunt making the Jump so I don't see much need at DE. The Guys on the board at DB all have third round grades to me. I could name 5 of them that would be perfect for sitting a yr before play and then could be steals.

I dont want Martin (DE) and no OT is worth it here. Gabe Jackson, Hyde or SJB would be my picks

why to draft a player we'd cut??? I don't see 7 or 8 rookies making this team.
I think they are looking for someone we are talking about

but it's nothing until they make a offer

Everybody here seems okay with Jackson, including myself. We can address CB/DE in the 3rd and 4th and still get good players, so Jackson gets my vote.

You're right, I just realized they're only moving up 3 spots, so we'd only be getting a late rounder in return. Wasn't thinking straight haha.

We don't need more picks. We should take an offensive player. Hyde is my choice but Jackson would be ok. It would be nice to find a LT to groom behind Whitworth but we may just end up getting another shot at Fragel when the Browns cut him at the end of preseason. We could look at Billy Turner or James Hurst later in the draft along with Brandon Thompson.

We're not going to trade up for a player who has been mentioned in here so far. Would only be 3 spots you move back and we could offer you an extra 6th rounder!
