This is the FFMD 14 (Part II) Draft Thread. For the time being, it will be locked. Come April 14, it shall be open for business.

I will pretty this thread up later, but for now, I figured I would at least get the draft order up. Due to a couple teams yet to have their GM set up a war room, I will be delaying the start of the draft one day. If you are a fan of one of those teams and would be willing to volunteer to take on the GM role, please send me a PM.

with the #1 pick in the 2014 nfl draft the Detroit Lions select : Jadeveon Clowney

we had him as our consesus #1 on all of our big boards. We feel he is one of those rare athletes that dont come along very often. His potential is unlimited and pairing him with Suh and Ansah will create a nasty trio!

With the number 3 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Teddy Bridgewater QB Louisville

Teddy Bridgewater is the number 1 prospect on our draft board and we are super excited for him to become a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Teddy brings elite football IQ and accuracy to the QB position, a position that has been a problem for Jacksonville over the last few years and will look to be fixed now for over the next decade.

With the 6th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select:

Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M

- Outstanding measurables, production and film (over multiple years)
- No injury history and no off-the-field concerns
- A big position of need and pretty good value

That's what I typed when I thought Houston was trading up for Bortles, and we would be selecting Khalil Mack. But it is all equally applicable to Matthews. He's a better athlete than Luke Joeckel, and has experience in very different offenses (Sherman/Sumlin). While there is a slight question as to whether he is a true "road-grading" right tackle, there are plenty of plays in his 2012 season at RT where he's driving defenders 5 yards off the LOS, and his bloodlines are hard to ignore. He will be the starting RT initially and may transfer to the left side in time.

Welcome Jake to Atlanta!

With the 9th pick the Buffalo Bills select...

Eric Ebron, TE, N. Carolina

Gives Buffalo a legitimate threat over the middle that will open up things on the outside for Mike Williams and Robert Woods, as well as give Stevie room in the slot. EJ Manuel gets himself yet another offensive threat to throw to. Should help with his development in many ways! Welcome to Buffalo Eric!

With the 10th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the Oakland Raiders select:
Aaron Donald, DT, Pitt

*Explosive interior lineman with strong hands and quick feet.
*Non-stop motor
*Durable and dedicated
*Multiple in 4-3
*Elite pass rushing skills for interior lineman

We love this pick here, especially with a trade down. Considered widely by many of our staff to be a top 5 player in this draft. Gets the oppertinuty to play along side Tuck, Woodley, and Smith.Everyone knows the best way to affect Manning and other pocket QB's like Rivers is to generate a rush up the middle. With Smith/Donald/Sims/McGee rotation inside we can do that and still be a force against the run.
