So if anything, the Bengals will be taking the best CB in the draft. Justin Gilbert, Darqueze Dennard, Bradley Roby, Kyle Fuller, or Jason Verrett. One of those guys should be there at 24, so right now it sounds like they will take whomever is left. I don't see more than one of these guys falling at 24.

I have been hearing the same that corner is our pick in the 1st according to people in the business. I like corner, just not sure on Roby yet.

I'm not that high on Roby based on last season, but this time last year I think we all would have jumped at it.

Marvin and Roby seem like a match made in heaven for one another. Marvin can mold him and ease him into the lineup slowly over time while Guenther and the DB coaches workk on his technique. He has all of the physical tools

I don't see Roby as a first rounder and he didn't play well in man to man so he does fit with the Bengal's, so it's far from a perfect match! Raw Talent yes and so was Taylor Mays, aren't you glad we didn't waste a first on him?

Roby would be a terrible pick at 24. If he's a top 24 player what does that make Abrederis?

My view remains that the Bengals don't need to take a CB early and that there are only 2 CBs among the 24 best players. So if Gilbert or Dennard is available, they are an option. Otherwise instead of reaching for Roby, Verrett, or Fuller, see who else is available at other positions.
