Good signing, gives us depth at tackle and a good swing tackle.

Nice, definitely a good re-signing.

Cool. Filled in nicely when called upon. Want to see far less of him at TE this year though.

The Ascension of Fendi has already begun. We are all witnesses.

Really awesome signing. Eb's a guy who can play both tackle and both guard positions in an emergency situation. Great value.

Solid move that had to be made.

Good move, glad he's back. Very solid swing tackle and filled in well at RT when Mills went down injured in the final game of the year.

Very happy with this. Great player to have backing up, and I expect him to be even better with another year of learning under Kromer and another year of being healthy.

Anyone think Britton can push Mills for the starting job?

I think the staff wants Britton in that swing role, as a jack of all trades guy.

Nah. even if Britton could play it slightly better, Mills has only played tackle at the pro level and is still learning. Britton has a a lot more experience and has it at guard and tackle. His flexibility across the line is far more valuable than any possible upgrade he might be able to give at RT over Mills. Plus for a rookie 5th round pick, he actually performed admirably IMO.

He can defiantly start so I love the sound of him as a back up.

LM: OL Eben Britton on re-signing with #Bears: “After last season it was really the only way I hoped free agency would go."

LM: Britton: “Everybody wants to be great and everybody wants the offense to be great. That was a big part of why I wanted to come back."
