Morris sucks IMO. Just watch his tape, he isn't draftable.

I wish we'd spend more time scouting receivers, OL and defensive players but Elway has some kind if need to satisfy his QB cravings in the pre draft process.

Did you watch his tape as a sophomore and junior? Much more impressive. Gil Brandt (one of the most respected evaluators of talent in the league) had him ranked 17th at the beginning of the year, but because of a down year dropped him. I am not sure how much coaching he received at the U. You do know that Brady, Farve, and many other QB's got drafted in the later rounds, right? It's called doing your homework and not just watching highlights of he players.

Maybe the 17th best QB.....

he stinks

Didn't respond to this then?

I don't know why but there now seems to be an obsession on our side of the pond on saying we've "watched his tape". Guys who I play football talk about this, when all they do is watch the opinion of others. I don't believe for one minute that you've watched his tape. Maybe you've seen a couple of Miami games, but just focusing on Morris? I'm not so sure.

Paul, break down the tape on Morris for me, somehow watch the recommended tape from previous years and give me YOUR opinion, not that of others. I don't mean to target you, but considering the coverage we have in the UK, I seriously doubt that we have the capability to do so from Blighty. Credit if you do somehow end up watching college football to the extent you focus on players who aren't on our radar, but I know far too many who enjoy the notion of "watching tape" but just read Walterfootball.

Maybe add Erik Swoope to the list. I'm not sure if he would be a draftee or a free agent signed later.

Hi Howie,

I'm more than happy to do a breakdown at a later date. I have exams at the moment so won't be watching much more film before the draft.

However I would like to direct you to the excellent website www.draftbreakdown.com

On this site there is tape for literally thousands of prospects.

Another name for the list -- William Poehls, an OL prospect from Montana.
http://broncoplanet.com/forum/broncos-stare-down-grizzly-lineman/

Poehls is a huge player (6'8" 330+ lbs) that would, at best, be a late-round pick. It's likely that he will not be drafted but could be an UDFA signing.
