Trade down
***1-#22 and Bryce Brown to Houston for their 2nd-#33 and 3rd-#65***
(Houston moves up to take Derek Carr b/c they took Clowney with their first pick, also need a backup RB with Ben Tate's departure)

2nd-#33 Jordan Matthews WR Vanderbilt
Clean-cut, athletic stud WR

2nd-#54 Austin Seferian-Jenkins TE Washington
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWMQrnlGDkU

3rd-#65 Martavis Bryant WR Clemson
A field stretching WR
*went to a Military Academy for High School (think Earl Wolff)*

3rd-#86 Will Clarke DE/OLB* West Virginia
hopefully the steal of the draft

4th-#122 Dontae Johnson S/DB NC State
Wolff's buddy, a very versatile player

5th-#162 Preston Brown ILB Louisville

7th-#237 Zack Kerr DT Delaware

UDFA for depth at OL

Did I solve any defensive needs with the players chosen?

No. Clarke is going to be a project at olb. Dontae Johnson is Taylor Mays 2.0 without the hard hits. Preston Brown is a depth guy, not a guy you want to start. Zach Kerr is also a depth guy who will need time to adjust to the step up in competition. And Martavis Bryant is not very good at all. We don't need Stephen Hills less agile clone. ASJ doesn't make much sense. TE isn't even a top 10 need.

thats 4 TEs now? but i do like this a lot. Thinking we for sure take clark and/or johnson , shown interest and theyre lengthy defenders kelly covets and wants to add. I do however think its going to be difficult to trade down and everyones mock has us doing so. Not gonna lie though id love this draft

Thanks or no thanks, this is basically what our draft is gonna look like. I'm not mad. I don't think Bryce Brown gets dealt though. Especially not in that deal.

The Texans have the first pick of the 3rd round, so it would actually be us trying to even out the deal.

lol ok, we all have our opinions...

ASJ would be BPA at that spot, so yes he does make sense. The Eagles have shown interest in Johnson, Clarke and Kerr. And don't forget, Stephen Hill was a first round pick, I have us getting Bryant in the 3rd. I also wasn't aware that there were guys we could take outside of the 1st and 2nd round that could start at MLB, please digress. Kerr can compete with Bennie Logan for starting time.

TE in the second round is a waste. If It's not the guy from UNC in the 1st, then just leave the position alone that early. I like the other picks.

So does this mean you don't hate Ertz anymore? Wink

I never hated Ertz. He just didn't fulfill the redzone need the Eagles had at the time and people were saying that he would be it. I knew that he could do precisely what he did, be someone that can approach the game by getting separation from linebackers and safeties and running to open zones. The Eagles STILL need redzone help. Brad stinking Smith even received redzone snaps in an attempt to alleviate the woes of the Eagles still being a finesses redzone offense.
