No ACE on my squad. Just a bunch of 9 of clubs.

Throw a first my way and the ace is all yours Wink

But you do have the best hitting in the league thus far so I don't want to hear you complaining haha.

The ship has hit rough water. Laughing

This week they haven't been performing to well.

That's special.

Quite the accomplishment in .1 innings.

Nice to come home and see I had by far the best day of my season so far.

Pretty sure I'd be winless without him. All of my other major bats have been disappointments so far. Additionally, in fact, every player I drafted with the expectation of a "breakout" or "bounceback" season has been poor (Sandoval, Dickey) or has gotten injured (Cobb) with the major exceptions of Cueto and Haren.

Basically, every player on my team is under-performing or injured except Stanton, Andrus, Cueto, Zobrist, Haren, Cingrani and Hechavarria.

Without Stanton the start of this season would have been completely disastrous for me.

Fun facts that don't mean anything;

Through 16 games, Stanton is on pace to hit 263.25 RBI, 60.75 HR, and score 141.75 runs.

There's no doubt he's been a one man wrecking crew.

Agree next week will be huge match up pull off a win go 2-2 facing Phreak.

This has been a lousy week at the plate my pitching has been really good.

Glad I was wrong about him so far. Hope he keeps it up. Exciting to get the new kids up replacing the old stars going out. Baseball seems to be lagging a bit IMO. More stars going out than coming in.

Houston 1B/DH: 0/7 4 SO

Singleton: 3/5 HR, 2 RBI

Carter has 25 SO in 50 AB with no HR, Krauss and Guzman are both awful with 12 hits between them for the season.

I hope Singleton reaches whatever contract status necessary because he can't be worse than these guys.

Dietrich and Solarte were both very nice pickups.

Dietrich will suprise some people and I thought Solarte was slowing down but it looks like I was wrong there.

However, I was worried with their playing time once Furcal and Tex come back.

Really hoping for one more good start, a save or two, and some solid batting again and I think I have this one locked up.

Saturday and Sunday seem to be bad for me. My team can't finish strong.
