Spotrac's Prediction: 5 years, $94,066,451
Average annual salary $18,813,290, estimated $31,800,000 guaranteed

Good gravy that seems expensive.

No F-ing way thats gonna happen.

If his average salary is close or above that, I will personally order every Bengal fan on here a free Jersey of there choice. This is not a joke.

Easy there Roddy White... Laughing

Well at least White can afford his bet, yet he wanted to be greedy and not pony up to the guy.

It would probably cost me near 1000 dollars to do this, but honestly as long as I don't get identity theft problems doing so, I am willing to do this.

In order for me to do this, Dalton's average salary must be 18 million or more though.

I know Mike Brown paid a lot of money for Carson Palmer, but his average was 13 million per year with 9 years left on his contract when he was extended in 2005.

If I do end up doing this though, I will have no regrets.

If you end up having to do this, then all fans will feel your pain, as that contract will cripple the cap.

He eventually paid up.

But i really hope you don't have to.

12-14 would be reasonable in my mind, with some way to escape after the first year of the extension (ie after the 2015 season).

Only reason Roddy White paid up was because he was getting everyone to hate him. If I choose not to do this, it wouldn't really affect me. The worst case scenario is I would have to leave this site, because nobody likes a bet welcher. But its not like any of you know me that well either, so unlike Roddy White I wouldn't have the media following me.

Of course like you guys said, I doubt anybody on here really hopes to get a free jersey in this case then the Bengals would be screwed for a couple of years possibly. But should Dalton be around so much longer and so much richer, then I guess its a nice consolation prize for everyone else. lol

As long as it's not a #14 jersey. But that would be humorous, especially for Hokie Laughing
