I wonder if Cromartie will make the cards better?

Probably something in between 15-17 mil.....I think.
Depends how much the new TV money raises the cap next year,

I didn't realize Desean was going to be so high with his cap hits these next 3 years.

Not that good... about 144m

But, if traded, Desean would bring 12m, 8m if cut

Trent Cole also holds an 11.6m cap number with 8.5m savings if cut

Cary Williams holds an 8m number - 6.5 savings if cut

Demeco holds a 6.9m number - all saved if cut

Celek saves 5m if cut

Casey is 4m savings

Carroll is 3m

All these guys are very real possibilities to be cut/traded in order to make room for Foles, Boykin, Kendricks, Cox extensions

Why are we trying so hard to trade away DeSean? I get it that he's kind if a diva and this is an excellent draft for WRs? But why the urgency when WR is not a big need and we have plenty of holes?

Did he do something in particular?

I can't believe you guys have talked yourselves into thinking trading Desean Jackson is GOOD for the 2014 Eagles. It's like you guys are caught up in FFMD and are obsessed with draft picks. GMOFB!

That would be a massive get for the jets if they added both Vick and Desean! they both know the system , know each other and instantly give credibility to that offense since Geno is a JOKE! Both would look good in Raider Black as well. Do the jets even have 10-15m in space?

This dude Adam Schein on NFL.com has got to be one of the most arrogant sounding dorks i've read in a while.

A lot of "I called this and that". you'd think PE ghost wrote it.

So I was listening to a podcast on the way home from nfl.com, they. Just discuss whatevers going on in the nfl, free agency, etc...and they brought up the desean trade thing, apparently jackson asking for more money after the playoff loss rubbed the front office wrong. Also one of the hosts said they spoke with mychael kendricks, and he said that chip told the team that "there's no room for me first players" and he (MK) mentioned how kelly has changed the culture within the eagles and for everybody to be about the team. So I don't know, take it FWIW...

Another thing is the return we get for desean is going to be horrible . We got two 3rds for 40 year old donny mac but 27 year old djax can't even get us anything more than one 3rd rounder? Mannnnnn

Even if they sign Vick, Geno is starting in week 3 after Vick is out for 7 weeks with concussion like symptoms and a broken collarbone.

He is all of the above.

He was previously on the nfl radio midday show with Rich Gannon.

Thankfully, they gave him his own gig on Mad dog radio.

Good, the more teams involved could lead to a bidding war if we do indeed decide to move DeSean. If we get another second and are able to go Cooks/Adams-Bucannon-Marcus Smith we're set.
