In real life - the rich get richer. I call this my capitalism mock draft. It's designed to improve the good teams and keep the basement dwellers in the basement.

1. Seattle Seahawks - DE Jadeveon Clowney
- In the epitome of "rich get richer", the Seahawks add to their feared defensive line.

2. Denver Broncos - OLB Khalil Mack
- Thought about Greg Robinson here but hopefully Clady will be back in full strength. Having Mack and Von Miller as book-ends is sickening. I know they signed Ware but he's old and there's nothign wrong with having too many pass rushers.

3. San Francisco 49ers - WR Sammy Watkins
- CK7 gets a legitimate #1 WR in Watkins.

4. New England Patriots - TE Eric Ebron
- Pretty high for a TE but the Pats would be even more dangerous with Ebron and Gronk.

5. Carolina Panthers - LT Greg Robinson
- Could have gone with Evans here as they've lost all their receivers. Ultimately, they need to protect Cam and an elite LT is more important than a receiver.

6. New Orleans Saints - CB Darqueze Dennard
- The Saints have addressed some of their secondary issues but finding some help at CB is a must this draft.

7. Cleveland Browns - QB Blake Bortles
- He's the top-rated QB and the Browns have their choice of three.

8. San Diego Chargers - CB Justin Gilbert
- When Richard Marshall goes out and your team suffers, its' time to add talent to the position

9. Cincinnati Bengals - LT Jake Matthews
- I know they said they would move Whitworth back to LT but the reality is that he was so much better last year as a guard.

10. Kansas City Chiefs - WR Mike Evans

11. Philadelphia Eagles - LB Anthony Barr
They signed Malcolm Jenkins which takes them out of the running for HHCD but Barr would help pressure the QB.

12. Green Bay Packers - S Ha Ha Clinton Dix
- Best safety in the draft for a team that needs help.

13. Arizona Cardinals - DL Aaron Donald
- Their defense needs youth and talent.

14. Miami Dolphins - WR Odell Beckham Jr
I didn't know what to do for the Dolphins here. Too early for a guard. Branden Albert is at LT. No cornerback value here. So here's another weapon for Tannehill. I'm sure they'd rather have Ebron but he's gone and it's too early for Amaro

15. New York Jets - QB Teddy Bridgewater
Yeah, they could sign Vick but the reality is that Geno Struggled and getting Bridgewater at 15 is a tremendous value. Let the two young guys battle it out in camp.

16. Baltimore Ravens - S Calvin Pryor

17. Dallas Cowboys - DE Kony Ealy
The Cowboys need to find a defensive help. They signed Melton but still need to address the End.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers - ILB CJ Mosley

19. Chicago Bears - DT Timmy Jernigan
- Lost Melton and re-signing Ratliff isn't enough.

20. St Louis Rams - OT Taylor Lewan
- I know they got back Saffold and Jake Long is still on the team but that doesn't mean their work is done.

21. New York Giants - DT Ra'Sheade Haggeman

22. Tennessee Titans - DE/LB Dee Ford
- I think he can play rush LB in the Titans new 3-4.

23. Detroit Lions - CB Jason Verrett
Lots of youth in the Lions secondary but not so much with the proven playmakers.

24. Buffalo Bills - OL Zach Martin
- I know they signed Chris Williams but I'm skeptical he's the answer to anything. Martin can play all over the line and should help young EJ find time to throw.

25. Minnesota Vikings - QB Johnny Manziel
Better value at 25 than at 8. They need to find somebody not named Ponder or Cassell to be the future.

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - WR Brandin Cooks
- I think the Bucs will be looking to find some more weapons for newly appointed QB Josh McCown.

27. Atlanta Falcons - CB Kyle Fuller
Not much here, didn't really know who to give to the Falcons but I figured their secondary was sup-bar last year.

28. Oakland Raiders - WR Kelvin Benjamin
Don't know who the QB will be but at least he'll have a big target.

29. Cleveland Browns - OG Xavier Sua-Filo
Guard was a weak-spot for the Browns and now they can protect Bortles.

30. Jacksonville Jaguars - DL Stephen Tuitt
This one's for Mr. Bradley

31. St. Louis Rams - WR Marqise Lee

32. Houston Texans - NT Louis Nix
DC Romeo Crennel needs an Wilforkian Anchor.

Interesting to say the least. Probably not very interesting for ravens and cowboys fans, picking in basically the same slot.

Not sure I want haha for the Packers at 21 let along 12.

Verrett would actually be good. Would rather have him than Gilbert Laughing

Capitalism, whether in your football context or in real life, is actually NOT designed to keep basement dwellers in the basement.

However, many basement dwellers in real life believe otherwise.

I would happily leave Whit at LG if we got Matthews.

If only....

Was definitely thinking the same thing when reading that, but didn't want to go there. It's the system that best provides upward mobility for bottom dwellers.

I was kind of going for sardonic. Like how people blame "capitalism", the "system" and the "man" for everything.

Terrible Falcons pick man CB is actually one of our strongest positions now Very Happy

We just took 2 Cb's back to back in the 1st 2 roudns last year in Desmond Trufant who was PFF rookie of the year he played like a top 10 CB in his rookie year.

Then we took Alford who alot of people had as a 1st round VB and he played pretty good as well. We resigned Robert Mclain one of the better slot CB's in the nfl, and we just signed avier Arenas to be our #4 CB. Not great but for a #4 you def. could do worse i think.

Our top needs are DE/LB, FS, RT, and TE

With who is avialble in your draft at our pick then Nix, Tuitt, Joyner Attouchu etc... would have been solid choices. We run a 3-4 base defense starting this year so anything to help that out is nice or any stud RT

Jake Matthews would easily be our pick. I probably wouldn't take Gilbert if he were around at 25 in a real draft to be quite honest.

CJ Mosley..No Thanks. Thank Gawd we don't do it this way..That's why I love our system...It's why the NFL has parody. One second the Chiefs are horrible..the next year they are killing it. At 18 I think the steelers would have picked Kelvin..I thought we were 15 though?
