Him with Ellington, our receiving trio, our improved line. I think this would be nice.

Will likely be for minimal money and a one year deal ala Mendenhall last year, one year incentive laden deal.

Kent Somers said that this is not true. No interest in CJ2YPC from Cards.

damn.... He did also say we'd be interested in MJD if he's available late enough in free agency.

I don't, I'd like it. It'd be an interesting fit. But like you said, Somers has denied it but that doesn't neccessarily mean Somers is right.

personally, I don't mind Johnson, we just signed Dwyer so I don't know how that would work out... anyway, Chris Johnson I feel has been a quality back, sure, hes no longer CJ2K, but he is still capable of 1K seasons easily.

What he said. Not because I don't think he can still contribute, but because more Johnson means less Ellington.

We don't want Ellington getting a ton of carries. We want him to last. It's like why Darren Sproles has never gotten the all of the carries/snaps at RB. Too many miles on him and it just won't work out. We have to give Ellington the Sproles treatment cause he's just a little guy

We have Taylor, Dwyer, and hopefully Williams to take the load off.

I think we're looking pretty good.

I know, I'm just saying we can't fully rely on Ellington to be our feature back. Less Ellington is probably what we want
